Looks like the thread should have been killed sooner, none of the sides seem to hear the others. Just a vent fest. It was interesting to see people assume others are lying if they've never seen what was claimed. (And then go the step further to publicly point fingers)

Actually my hope was to isolate this program. I often find myself listen to a streaming university class and wanting to play while I just listen to the guy. As it is now, starting GalCiv means I can't here him for a few minutes until I get to the in-game menu to turn it down. (this might be an extended time for me because my laptop isn't the fastest in the world)

I can't make the volume settings stick. Everytime I start GalCiv the volume is back to default. Not only would I like it to stay where I left it, I want it to effect the initial dialog's music and the intro movies as well. Is this an existing capability that I can't find? (:(

But the goodies get extra points anyway! Fair would be similar points for morality. Fair would be simlar benefits from events. Fair would be evil fundies attacking the goodies. hmmmmm... there's always dissenters in reality... everyopne should be attacked by opposing fundies... :notsure:

Thanks for the tip to the relevant thread Aaberg. Glad to support the cause of evil everywhere. Sorry if that first response to Sirian made me rant, intolerant politics make me crazy with passion to hurt someone.... >:( For the record, this isn't a contridiction as I beleive intolerant politics aren't inherently evil, they are just annoying, like a sliver. Evil is realizing that tolerant politics, like "free speech" don't really give the people power, they just g

saying it's not a problem because you can work around it sounds like something I'd here from a shifty engineering software vendor. I'm evil and certainly accept the random even of these people taking over a slew of my planets without warning or battle, they simply show up. Last time they took 2/3 of my planets upon arrival, THEN I had an opportunity to deal with them. I agree with Sirian, they are given too much when they show up. The suggestion to cap them as a function of map si

laws don't discourage evil, they merely punish those who live differently from the law makers... count me in for support of the measure, there really isn't any point in having ruling council members that never show up for votes! ;)

Punishing for THEIR pleasure hardly sounds evil, sounds more like work. :notsure: But I suppose it's acceptable that they experience pleasure while I'm seeking my own by dishing out the punishment... hmmmm.... now I'm trying to wrap my brain around how to reconcile the victim receiving pleasure from being tortured by the withholding of pleasure... :SURPRISED:

I don't seem to be listed under any morality sort, but some people, like Smeagol_O, are on two sorts (good and evil for Smeagol_O) with a different score on each... Probably a similar disconnect to the map, just wanted the PTB to know it was there :) sorry if already discussed, didn't see anything in a search... :notsure:

kryo- I don't know how you could claim to be evilest when you don't have a set of black-faced bookends around your trophys like The Dark Lord does... I still have a red one so there's definately room for evil improvement in my daily planner... ;)
