The reason the game gets slower later is rather obvious. As the game progresses, there are a lot more things going on to compute than before. Tons of ships, colonies, events occuring to both player and AI.. etc etc etc. There, question answered. Happy? ^_^ But the delays you're getting sound downright atrocious.. especially the fellow with a rather fast system and yet he gets slowed like that. I have slight delays on gigantic, into the game a ways.. but nothing like THAT. A min

Parable - Yes, but you cannot group more than 16 ships into a fleet at once... and planets can only hold 16 ships in orbit. I think there should not be limits like that, or at the very least the limits should be far higher and based on ship size. Oh, and Zorven - I can't see an icon for research capital myself.. you see one? Ee.. ~SDC~ [Message Edited]

Yeah, what Kryp said.. there are PLENTY of ships in SW to do 25 or even around 100. Just look to the games and, if you exhaust even that, the various ship guides and books for Star Wars. You'll find plenty. ;) ~SDC~

Oh, I forgot something - Orbital bombardment would be nice to include in some fashion other than simply destroying the entire star. It makes sense that ships in orbit would be able to bomb the surface with nukes for as long as they wanted before invasion. Heck, even include different KINDS of orbital bombardment with various costs and advantages/disadvantages - have it work like invasion, only its bombardment. ;) ~SDC~

If I scrap my Economic Capital, I cannot rebuild it on ANY world, even the same world. I am also having occassional Crash-To-Desktop bugs.. so far I've found no pattern (one did involve an espionage message, though, and kept effecting me even if I loaded from saved game) - I'll post again if I discover a pattern to them. ~SDC~
