Seriousness with a spice of humour in Star Control StarControl Forums

I've just seen and read something about Star Control Origins. It's not much I know but from what I saw is a wrong focus in my opinion. What I got from Star Control 2 is 'Serious business with humorous elements' but what I've seen and thereof going to expect of Origins is 'Humorous business with serious elements'. That's a bummer, really! Today it's either the one or the other or the 'Humorous business with serious elements' kind of things. I
