This product key has exceeded the number of allowed activations. in Accounts and Activation Help Stardock Forums

I get this error (in title ) when trying to activate my license after reinstalling my O/S last night. I purchased the key for Fences in March last year and have had no issues until now. I need to get this activated and working on my PC.
