Same problem here. I thought I was going nuts until I saw your post. I'm using Vista Business, WGE rating of 5.5. Unless someone knows of a solution, I think I'll just uninstall/restore and try the next version. Neil - On my machine, no. The computer pretty much locks up. Update - Booted into safe mode and uninstalled Stardock Central. After reboot all the Object Desktop programs I have installed work fine. Is Stardock Central the problem? Also, after the first reboot after ins

"To me, those x1 slots are nothing more than useless and wasted space." So True! As far as Creative goes, they drove me right to onboard sound with their terrible drivers and even worse customer support.
Obviously most people use IE6 over IE7. Why? Because they're too cheap to actually have a legal version of XP. Only reason. IE7 annihilates every browser out there. Firefox, Opera, Safari, IE6... whatever. You're an ass. <a href="https://www.wincustomize.com/resources.aspx?cmd=3" title="Posted via WinCustomize Browser/Stardock Cen

First of all, I would dispute that bad page design can be blamed on a firewall, especially when the problem occurs with no other pages, but we can save that argument for another day. Meanwhile, let me know which configuration I've missed: www.wincustomize.com mobile code Allow session cookies Allow persistant cookies Allow 3rd party cookies Allow skin3.wincustomize.com mobile code Allow ses
Thanks for the answers. While you are all at please explain why preview pics on this site are so hard to see. Yeah, I know, crack open the firewall..., but I already added the previously mentioned entries to zone alarm and I still can't see them without truning it off completely. And please, don't blame zone alarm. Every other page on the web shows up just fine. Why would anyone want to make it so hard to view a website? >>>>previous questions</
I just bought a wincustomize subscription. After navigating the usual Stardock maze of setup requirements (download, pay, get email, activate, subscribe, reboot...on and on and on...). I find that it doesn't work very well. When I tried to post to the forum from the wincustomize browser, I was told I was not authorized. When I try to apply a skin from within the browser, that doesn't work. Unless these problems can be fixed, the wincustomize browser/ac
Thnaks guys, that worked. Seems an awful lot of work, but it got the job done.
I downloaded the latest Windowblinds and was impressed enough to consider a purchase. However, a quick visit to wincustomize has changed my mind. I started browsing the themes and noticed that I can't seem to see most of the preview pictures. Is this a glitch, or do people just not post previews? Must not be a browser issue, I tried it in Firefox and IE. I looked through the forum for posts about this issue, but most just had clever, but not helpful, s
