Good morning, gang...gotta do some work today. Yesterday, I didn't get a thing done. About resources: I think they change the game dramatically. I have an example...the Drengin got to a resource before me and it happened to be right in the middle of my empire. This sort of peeved me, as it was near a Drengin colony that also just happened to be in the middle of my empire.
