I suggest changing the suite's file extension from .suite to .zip and extracting the contents, place the folders in the appropriate directory under C:\Users\Public\Documents\Stardock and apply the items manually. As far as the My Colors versions go, I cannot offer a fix. The program is no longer supported and the skins made for it will ONLY work with it installed. I don't think any are Windows 7 skins. Stardock had converted some of them to suites before abandoning the program

The Windows 7 taskbar is the first one I've used since Windows 95....why abandon a good thing?

I've been way too happy with W7 to even consider upgrading. Especially after watching the video. Looks like a boon for tablets and phones but that's about it. I'll hold out for version 9

looks like he applied the current Zune UI to everything. I like it.
Readyboost is not as fast as ram. Even in USB3. I have a hard time believing you were using up the 8GB you started with to make adding readyboost worthwhile. I run 8GB ram and rarely see it in the 50% usage area. Most of the time I have more than 5GB unused. I run AutoCAD which is a memory hog if there ever was one and it's the only program that will get it up to 50% mark. I can't see a browser using anywhere near that much unless you have a boatload of extensions running all the time

As long as it's a closed system I wouldn't worry too much. Use Core Temp or some other utility to monitor temps. Fluid dynamics change with temperature so try to correlate whether you hearing this during high CPU usage or actually just randomly. Turbulence or roil within pipes can create sound and is my guess. It's possible even without air pockets/bulbbles.

Right-click on a blank area on Tiles and choose Configure Stardock Tiles from the menu. 2nd item on the left side list is Skins. Bee sure to open "Add Features" (last item on the left) and Activate Tiles by clicking "Activate Existing Purchases" and following the directions.
same here... BSOD - Unexpected Error in the video manager..... happened everytime I tried to move a Window after making configuration changes. Set all animations to random, turn off most of the right click items but not all, left resize windows disabled, turned off shake, changed the friction slider, tried to move the config window and BOOM! After reboot disabled the movement and it still happened and with other windows like Dopus and Control Panel. My video setu
