I'm just guessing, I imagine fences is best if tied to the Icon spacing settings. That may not be the way it's done. I don't use Fences.....I prefer to hide my Desktop Iconsand use Tiles. Just a guess..... Office manipulates the title bar for shortcuts and such and Firefox does the same in the last couple of versions so it may be that their title bars are excluded or handled differently.

I'll stick with 2011 for a while.....no problems here at all. I run 3 different Acronis backups. Data backup every evening (full on wed. then 6 incrementals) Full System & data to Local HD every Friday evening (I usually have a months worth on disk) Full System to external Drive every Sunday night (also keep 4 or 5 previous) Data....I don't do music, pictures or video in my backups.....I sync them amongst my computers across t
