Is there any eta on when it's Fences 4 coming to Steam? I bought Fences 3 on Steam and hoped for a discount for the Fences 4 upgrade, either through Steam of directly from your store. My 30 days trial on Win 11 has already expired, and I don't really want to downgrade to 3 again so I'd like to buy soon.

Win 11 22518. Bugs: -Changing between Start Menu styles sometimes doesn't work or is delayed, especially when swtiching between "Windows 7" and "Modern Style" (they look identical until I change to Win 10 style and then back to one of these). -Win 10/11 style menu doesn't show most of my pinned app shortcuts (I'm not able to understand what's the criteria for whichs ones fail to show here). Win 7/Modern styles seem to show most, if not all, the shortcuts pinned to the start men

Just upgraded from Fence 3 to 4 on Win 11 Build 22504. "Allow navigation" doesn't work on my fences, it just opens a new explorer window every time. Fences 3 had the same issue recently (probably since upgrading to Win 11). I've tried toggling it as well. I haven't been able to tell if it would work on newly created fences as I can't create new ones for now.

No I just reinstalled after a clean uninstall. Maybe I had an outdated version, but I think that just the last Windows upgrade broke it and reinstalling it fixed it.

1. 20H2 Build 19042.546 2. Fences was the latest from steam (3.0.4? Whatever, it's up to date, and I think there hasn't been any new versions in a while) 3. My issue is that explorer would restart every few seconds, leaving me unable to see my desktop or even the start menu. Uninstalling Fences fixed it, but I can't install it back. Just try that build with the same Fences version and see. It would be nice to get version 4 at some point as well :) . Thanks.

Also having this problem since the 20H2 Windows 10 update tonight. I had to purge and now it works, but I can't reinstall Fences, I think we might need a hotfix?

Also, a right click option to open the folder a file shortcut points at as a new explorer window. For example you have a shortcut to a game exe on one of your fences, you want to open the folder of the game in an explorer (not in fences), but you can't, as of now if you click "Open file location" it opens it within fences, "Open in new window" is only available on folders.

Definitely an option to disable the fences snapping feature when resizing them, as if you are trying to be pixel precise it is impossible a lot of times.

I've had this problem for a year, during which i reinstalled fences and windows multiple times. I've been running sfc /scannow and dism for other problems and they never found any problems. It's clearly just a bug with fences.

It seems to happen on every fence (i tried creating new ones and it still does it), but it doesn't do it on portals! Reverting to a snapshot wouldn't fix it, i always had this problem. I don't really mind i just wanted to help you fixing it. It actually happens on both fence sides, not only above like shown in the screenshots, but also below. I've tried resizing to fence to any size and it always does it (even when it snaps at a size).

I've just noticed that this only happens if you have your desktop icons to the maximum supported size, which is greater than "Extra large icons". You can reach that icons size with CTRL+mouse wheel in.

Ok i took 3 screenshots. The first 2 don't have any visible bugs. The problem is the following: When you have a fence and you scroll with by dragging the scrollbar on the right side with your mouse (left click and move down), icons are being rendered outside of the fence, they are being rendered over another fences (in the case the one with the bug is "Temp" being rendered over "My Stuff" which extends upwards. The rendering of icons should stop within their own fence borders.
