Do the diplomacy mechanics work with AI? in Sins of a Solar Empire II Sins2 Forums

Hey Stardock community, I've played a few games, from Beta to the game's standing as is and I have found that not a single AI player has accepted any offers I made them. No ceasefire, shared vision, alliance offer has been accepted, even when i offered them tens of thousands of basic and advanced resources. Are these features currently working with the AI? I have found that not a single AI player has accepted any cease fires or agreements, regardless of race/ethos and the fact i have offered ridiculous amounts of resources to get even a basic ceasefire.
