After I install WindowBlinds 5.50.021 through the SD central, and reboot, I get a BSOD for win32k.sys. I can only boot after I go into safe mode and uninstall Windowblinds. This is simply after installing, not even choosing a skin, yet. Michael

Here is what they need to do: 1. I do something for the first time, ask my permission and start counting 2. After five times of running the exact same thing with the same file size, date and checksum, add a "remember choice" button 2. After fifteen times, never show the question again until the file date, size or checksum changes. Then, notify me what changed and present the choices again and keep counting. This needs to work with startup programs, installs, device manager,
That DOCS link is the one that I tried to follow and ended up with black text on black background. It shows menus and screens that I cannot find, so I guess this will not help me unless it starts at a simpler state. Michael
I bought a subscription to Object desktop after not using any Stardock products for close to three years. I finally got an awesome laptop with a G-Force card and 2 gig of ram, etc. I tries some of tools and their improvments in development and my hardware improvments made them look and run perfectly. I now use the Emmenance theme with the latest Windowsblinds, ObjectDock, DesktopX, right click menu, keyboard launcher, and few others. The only one I cannot figure out how to fully conf
From time to time, with no repeatable results and I cannot cause this to happen, Object Dock quits with a little dialogue box that simply states TEST. Seems that this build is no completely done. What does this mean.
The latest version of windowsblinds, which is 5.00[b].011, installed on a Toshiba Satellite will disable hiberation and stand-by. This only happens when I attempt to put my laptop into a hibernation state. It will not go. When I check, the hibernation tab is missing and there is no sign that the system can even go into hibernation. When I reboot, it all comes back. If I uninstall WindowBlinds, I can hibernate and stand-by easily and quickly with n
I am running all this on a laptop that is wider than tall and has a resolution of 1280 x 800. anyone know of any themes to fit this or will work well with that resolution? :HOT:
I have 5 widgets set to load on windows startup. They all seem stable. They are either OMNI or WT3 and work well. When I boot, I get three messages that all state: dxwidget.exe - Another program is currently using this file. I assume this is a conflict with things trying to load at the same time. So how do I fix this? There must be a way to get a few widgets automatically loaded so that I do not have to spend ten minutes congfiguring my
After much work with all stardock products, since 2000, I have discovered it has to do with the JAVA version installed. Most windows machines allow either a microsoft VM or a JAVA VM. I have switched to a JAVA VM and updated the abosulte latest JAVA from sun and the jumping has stopped. I can still cause a jump if I play a java game or run a java applet, like games.yahoo.com, so I tend to disable most stardock items before I play a pure JAVA game.<b
Nothing works like a solid uninstall and reinstall. Everything is fine, even without trayscan.exe. I guess stardock does it by itself now. Michael
I have a dock that is drawered on the right side of my screen. Tabbed too. I mouse over items, and they wiggle, but no text-pops up. Why? The text pops up on my other dock, which has no tabs and sits exposed at the top of my screen. It is at the top of my screen, because I am still trying to find trayscan.exe so that I can make my taskbar vanish for good and still use the tray. So, what will make the text pop-up on the tabbed/
