I am running Windows 11 Home, v 24H2, build 26100.1 and have installed DeskScapes 11 via DeskScapes11_setup_sd.exe and then (after uninstall/reboot) DeskScapes_11.0.1.0-j146-Setup_sd.exe, and neither work.

I've been part of the Insider Preview for quite some time. As I previously stated, DeskScapes 8.8.51worked well until the latest Windows update. The issues don't hinder productivity...but, I do like DeskScapes. Thanks! James

Windows 11 v24H2 (OS Build 26052.1100)

No video/animation with recent Windows Update in DeskScapes Stardock Forums

I was using DeskScapes v8 and when Windows updated on the 9th, it stopped working. The animated backgrounds were black. I installed the latest version (11) yesterday. A little better...the animations/videos display...but, as a static image. What can I check/change?
