Thats exactly what I was noticing, Gerakken. Difficulty seems to have very little effect on the score. I started noticing in my results as the higher I went the lower my scores became. Very strange, its like being at University and getting more credit for doing my brothers 3rd grade homework. I will try and finish the tech tree, I have never gotten anywhere near the end I don't think, the furthest was 4D Wormholes and a Tech Win score of 11% or something like that.

Isn't score supposed to be based on difficulty and map size also? I have been looking at the scores over the past few days of the 3 Empires in the battle for 10th and it seems that the weighting is just about all towards the victory type. Looking at the top player scores it also shows a bias towards Military wins rather than Difficulty or map size. Military wins at Beginner on a Tiny map are worth roughly half those of Military Wins at Masochistic on a Tiny map and a quarter of a Milita
You cannot defeat the Illuminati!
Easy Peasy Japanesey. Done. We only have 3 active players. Still 3 is all we need. CDG is a modders website and unfortunately that means most of them are too busy modding, not playing. Our illustrious leader and a few cohorts are also involved in a big site upgrade and haven't been playing.

Just finished a game with morality of 100%. It was very easy to get to as all the penalties were very small, on the order of -3% morale, -5%PQ that sort of thing, small single figures. I even got to rescue the endangered race for 21bc and cured the plague for 120bc. The Trade Centers are great but come too late, only a few of my bigger earliest settled planets got it built. The extra trade routes came in very handy, I can definitely see the lure of good for those. Wierd game, I won witho

Thanks for answering. I don't do cheese or I wouldn't ask if there was a legal way to do it, I'd just get out the crackers. Seeing the good techs is one reason I asked, I have never made the good interface yet. I have only had the game a little over a week and while I am fumbling about learning the game the evil choices are much better than some long off benefit of the good choices. I have to be sure I'll make it to the long off. Once I have learnt the game better and can be sure of wha

Is there any way to increase your morality other than through the colonising events and the very rare governing choices? If you're at peace with everyone, trading with them and friendly with them all shouldn't your morality be slightly higher than demonic? Obviously the other Civs don't agree you are, or they wouldn't be your friends. I just finished a game and there were no events in the last 12 game years, so no way to repair any damage done by a few PQ picks in the early planet rush.

How can you tell when other races are about to Surrender and who to? I just finished my first game and all the majors ended up surrendering to the Arceans. I was at war with the $%#^*(@$! Fundamentalists and they all just went off one after the other. It threw a big spanner in the works as instead of several small weak empires to pick of I had one only slightly smaller me. It broke alot of my trade routes also and started costing me big time.

In fact why are there stars with no PQ rating? What is there purpose? Sometimes they have influence ratings, is this influence then given as a bonus to the sector owner?

A small bug. When starting a new game I adjust the Economy to 100% Military and then adjust the tax rate and Gov spending until I get the mix I want. Most of the time this works, but sometimes when I raise the tax rate past 55% it will change from generating 13bc to 3bc. Raising it further will get it up to 4,5,6 ...... I noticed it only seems to happen when the starting planets PQ is 17.
