John, just overlay an image of your pretty face on all the images so all the uglies don't have to see themselves. [e digicons][/e]
There's no copyright notice on the image Kinda hard to ask if someone knows what it is without showing it.
No copyright notice is required. For all we know the site you got it from had a disclaimer on it and most likely did. You can reduce the size or obscure large portions of it. Posting it full size is disrespectful in the least and illegal in the worst.
Make sure your pink is exactly 255-0-255. I have seen many times where someone had the pink just a tad off or it had a slight transparency. Since it is turning white it is a transparency setting or the image is a bit off.
Version 4.3 is going back a bit but... You can change the bubble color and text. There is a specific setting for this. I just don't remember exactly where and I obviuously don't have such an early version....but it is there. 1& 2- Those fonts are changed in the font preset section. Chenge all the preset fonts to the desired font. IMPORTANT: All the preset fonts must be set to a negative value. In other words, the font should be -12 and not 12 or it will
Why not?
Cause Vista sucks and I lost my XP disc. I was excited for WB for Win 7 so I could skin again but apparently SKS isn't ready for Win 7 and besides WB skins IE8 half assed so I'll check back in afew months to see if they have improved it. Doc has a copy of my so called master skin that I never finished if anyone wants to finish and post it, Just contact him and leave me out of it. :) Consider permission granted. Are toolbars, menubars , and tabs supposed to be skinned?
I am saving every cent from now on to get one of these so the PC I have will have to get me to the end. http://www.fhm.com/reviews/gadgets/bugatti-veyron-164-grand-sport-gets-tested-20090601
I have my background set to change every 5 minutes. If I am at my PC working all is fine. If I go away long enough for the background to change Internet explorer opens in windows classic mode. I close IE and reopen and it is skinned as should be. This does not happen when the background changes if I am doing aanything at my PC. It's only when I leave it idle for a bit. When it switches to classic mode the menubars, toolbars, and tabs in IE are skinned classic colors basd on the s
Check the settings on your UIS2 frames. I haven't been skining for months so I am a bit behind and going on a aging memeory but those windows normally use the UIS2 frames.
I believe you will have to reset it to black after each reboot. The gray is set by the skin you are using. A good way around this is to make the background you want to use the same size as the resolution you are running. Or, fill around the centered background with black to make the background match your resolution. If you don't know how, I am sure one of the kind people here can do it for you easily if you let them know your resolution.
Are you using magic pink?
The start button issue is with all skins. Build 7100. The unskinned toolbars and menubars is all skins.
Do the clean reinstall of XP.
That is what I would do as well but you might be lucky in uninstalling the ATI drivers via add/remove, reboot, let Windows install basic drivers, then reinstall the real drivers.
Just bought one....and as of a few hours ago...finished the build....and powered up [nothing but the box]...and it didn't blow up....so all is good...
I got yrag on standby...
Why not report the problem before tossing threats. https://forums.wincustomize.com/354999

Sounds like you are doing something that will eventually be resolution dependant. A screenshot will help us help you.
The way you are layering/ stepping the graphics looks wise. It will take the metal look up a notch.
The skins I made for Vista are looking pretty good. Minor adjustments are needed but all in all not bad. Start buttons are whacky.
I see the WIn7 leo skin. Totally fresh WB install on a totally fresh OS install. could someone please lock one of these threads so there aren't multiple threads going?.....please please please......
Thanks. I suppose I can wait. The unskinned toolbars aren't so bad on my ispire skin. :P * Menu bars in IE8 flash the correct color but then change to unskinned menubars but the menu bars look fine in Explorer. Your computer has a Windows Experience Index base score of Your Windows Graphics Experience score is 7.9 WindowBlinds version : WindowBlinds 7.0 (build 170 - Windows 7 Edition) WindowBlinds is installed correctly on th
Have you cleaned the inside of the PC? It's not the motherboard, it's a fan. Stcik a pencil in the fan of the power supply next time it happens. If the sound stops, it's the power supply. I don't suggest sticking a pencil in the graphic card but if it's not the power supply it's the graphic card.
It has been 6 months since I had WB installed last so I am not up to date but the toolbars in IE8 and tabs are not getting skinned. Is this a known bugfeature or new? Also.. Is Skinstudio ready for WIn 7 before I install it?
