Because windowblinds uses windows classic GUI to build on, not Aero. The template provided in Skinstudio is not Vista Aero it is a custom skin made by Stardock (diamond). You would need to use a Vista clone as a template so everything except the taskbar looks like Aero.
You would need to download a vista clone skin and then modify the taskbar to your liking using Skinstudio,

FYI.. Skinstudio 6 works like a charm on Win 7. Actually, I think it runs smoother than on Vista. [e digicons]:thumbsup:[/e] No noticable differences with the latest update either. It's running smoooooth.

If a skin was built solidly for Vista it doesn't take much to make a WIn 7 skin. Going from XP to win 7 is alot of work though. I don't deserve that much credit.

Like I said, people that claim to utilize state of the art equipment will upgrade. Lots slipped past Vista but won't skip Win 7. It's just a prediction not a statement. Image and function have nothing to do with one another in business. My industry is design and engineering. 2 industries that tend to stay ahead of the pack when it comes to technology.

Did you install any other GUI altering software at anytime? Your screenshot looks/ makes no sense. You shouldn't be seeing the Vista buttons with that taskbar. If WB crashes you would see Classic images. Does it do it with all skins? Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling Windowblinds?

Actually version 5 allowed for a reflection map that sort of did that. It went away with version 6. I made a few skins with them but can't recall which. V's Naked skin would have worked well with that feature.
