I am sure he means that WB opens every time he boots. It is doing the same thing for me, but only in Windows 7 using WB 7 beta, and I do not even have a WB skin applied.
Go into task manager, select display all processes and shut down Vista.exe and the other WB process. I can't remember what the other process is called as I don't have installed right now but you will easily notice it. I believe it will stop this from happening but not sure.
I'm not sure if that actually works.
Oh well, at leats alot of time wasn't wasted. [e digicons]:grin:[/e] Something that may help. If you download Blackerry's desktop software which is free, there is a program that makes editing, copying, creating, etc sound files from almost any source. You make your own ringtones and etc. I found it worth having,

Thanks Ken. I didn't mean to sound depressed. I am just seeing the reality of what I am trying to do. I don't fault anyone for not responding and I didn't mean for it to come across that way. It was snide remark that I probably shouldn't have said. I'm trying to make it as easy as possible for others to get involved without it taking anything from them. I am ready to put in the time and effort. I don't expect anyone else to be anywheres as committed as myself but I welcome any fe
there are still many in use today.
Yup, and they all end up in this one part of the ocean eventually. It is severly contaminating our food supply. The size of this island has grown twice as large as Texas. It will grow exponentially in relation to a growing population.

I think Stardock missed the boat in the gadgets market. I just can't see customers flocking to pay for Desktop X to run gadgets/widgets when there are free sidebar gadgets/ yahoo for almost everything. I think the Market is in full blown themes and noone has really done anything revolutionary in quite sometime. Look at Gef's work. He makes arguably the better themes out there and they are basically the same thing just reworked with new graphics. There is nothing more frustrating

Uvah, Yes, that is the approach to take. I see the obstacle as trying to get them to overlook their bottom line for just one second so they know it is the right thing to do. Thanks you for the input.

Doc, I TOTALLY appreciate the help and any other you have to offer. This is basically a test to see if I can gether support through power in numbers or if I will need to fight the battle on my own. :) I am sorry it is all so vague right now but I am just getting started and didn't know what to expect.

Thanks Doc, I know about the contradiction. I just wanted to let people know where I am going with this. I would have a lawyer review the final draft of course. [e digicons]|-)[/e]

Here is a rough draft of a letter that I am working on. It might help to explain the direction I wish to go in. All feedback is appreciated. Dear (insert company name), <span style="font-family: "Segoe UI";

Ken, I know there are further problems to explore and take care of. I would rather not confuse those with this problem. I would like to focus on getting this island of trash cleaned up and only this island of trash... for now. If a miracle happens and we can successfully come together to make this happen we can go onto the next problem.
Thanks for the article, I will begin to learn.
Point taken and awareness is the simple goal. Thanks you for listening. Your input is of great value to me as I fumble to get started. There is already an organization attempting to get the ball rolling. I am simply trying to gather support as a seperate entity from such organization as the more the merrier I say. I'll bet you all saw Wall-E and thought, this can't happen. Well it is happening and in a few d
