WB does not remove the Windows XP theme on install. It never has done & never will do. Most likely your file has become corrupted.

The OpenOffice2 flickering issue should be resolved in the next build.
J-Mac: Which menus in Pocomail? I tried installing it and all the menus looked fine here. Could you provide a screenshot? Also with FotoSlate 4, where are the template selection boxes as again I am unable to reproduce any problems with them. Night Train: What happens with works word processor?
Please ensure you are running WB 5 beta 3.
WB should work fine under limited user rights. It does need to be installed by an administrator though. Running wbconfig should show up all the skins installed on your PC as WB will not show in display properties under a new user until wbconfig has been run. This is done to ensure other users are not confused by the additional WB options in display properties.
Those with 9200 cards who have this problem should contact ATI tech support and request they fix it. There is nothing we can do in WB to work around this as if the drivers have no support then we cannot add it for them. 9500 cards and later have no problems with it.
What if you just reapply the skin, not unload & reload. Also is this with the 4.96 release?
Screen Edge Clip adjustment is not permitted with per pixel frames.
What is the exe name?
We are looking into this.
Please post the size, date & time of wbsrv.dll in your WB directory.
MDI windows should be skinning with WB5 just as they do with WB4.6. The only restrictions are they cannot have per pixel on them (they use the non per pixel frames - this will not be changing) and when maximized the min, max, close buttons in the menubar are not skinned when using a per pixel skin.
It seems not all of the WB files got updated on your PC. Uninstall WB, reboot, delete all spare files in the WB dir, reinstall WB, reboot. Better?
Please post the information from the troubleshooting page here.
The maximized titlebar itself can still use per pixel if the skin author wants. Its just that the borders will not be visible as they are offscreen (which is normal for maximized windows)
They are not talking about Stardock applications when they say to remove skinning apps first.
It should not even be showing up in SDC for users on 2000. I am unsure why it is.
Windows Vista is not out until late 2006. Regarding the 9200 issue, there are 2 issues. The first is the titlebar buttons & text get corrupted on per pixel skins due to a driver bug. This can be worked around using the 2nd checkbox on the troubleshooting page in WBconfig. The second issue is certain refresh rate / resolution combinations with recent drivers cause the drivers to report no support for per pixel. There is nothing we can do about this as if t
Why can't you switch back to the original XP look in WB5?
WindowBlinds 5 is not for Windows 2000. It supports Windows XP / 2003 / 64 bit XP / 64 bit 2003. You will need to uninstall WB5, reboot and then reinstall WB 4.6. Sorry about that.
Look at taskmanager on the secondary when it starts to lag. Is cpu usage high? Are you all using tablet pcs?
Command prompts not skinning is normal for WB5. This may come back in the future, but not for the 5.0 release. As for border sizes, WB5 should be just as capable as WB4 was. If there is a problem with a particular skin, could you please post a link to it so we can look into it.
Mouse lag would point to high cpu usage on one of the PCs or a network connection with lots of latency.
I just tried the latest synergy build with WB and had no problems at all. What build of synergy are you using?
Putting skins on a network would not be a good thing. There would be a huge performance hit.
