Thanks Admiral. That is encouraging.

Like it says. Are you guys working on a Gal Civ IV ? If so, how is it coming along ? I would buy it.
The company is on a viable footing now, so it probably will not need "founder members'. Glad I helped out when they needed it. This game has been a godsend for me during this lock down.
Just dropped in to see if anything is happening. Been a long time.
Great. Thanks a lot.
Like it says, I prefer Crusade to Intrigue but Steam insists I play Intrigue. How can I get around this?
I already have it.[e digicons]|-)[/e]
Thanks Ronin. Never thought of that. I was playing a Civ that I downloaded from Steam. The Greater Nazi Reich. Not sure what the ship designs were. They were certainly different.
I suspect that several other Ideological Traits do not work either. They are more difficult to check than missing ships.
I had the same problem. Second time I wanted to pick it I saved the game first, so when they failed to appear, I reloaded and chose something else.
You are not alone. I am so overwhelmed, that I was seriously considering dumping the game.
1) That's not true.
It is true. I have tried it.
2) By choosing to not ask for help from those that can help you, I get the impression that you enjoy feeling robbed, and don't want to solve the problem.
Then you get the wrong impression.
I'd suggest contacting Steam support as that should not prevent you from having the game.
No point. Steam's idea of support is "find out for yourself, from other members".
If it is going to be released through Steam then I am not interested. I have Galciv3 via Steam. My computer crashed and now I cannot get it again through steam.
I am a founder member of Gal Civ3 and played it via Steam for a while. Then my hard drive failed and now I cannot play it. Steam will not allow me to download it again. They want another $50. Is there anyway I can download it again for free, or get my $100 back ?
Thanks guys. I have the same problem. Stuck on "idle colony" when all the tiles are developed. Next time I open the game, I will see if I can use your solution.
Just checking. I am a founder member, but it wants me to sign up.
I do not think naming it after a loved one is a good Idea. I do not like the thought of a loved one being "occupied" by some nasty like the Yor or the Dregin. [e digicons]8C[/e]
In GC2, when placing a spy, you can see everything that has been built on a planet and choose which structure to disable.
In the past, I had settled on crippling as my standard fun game. Just played one and found it much more difficult than I remember. [e digicons]>:([/e]
After all this excitement and euphoria, I suppose we have to be patient until about February of next year before anything else happens.
Normally I do not buy a new game until it has been out some time and all the bugs removed and the game is playable. This time I do not mind giving Stardock my money six months in advance, if it will ensure that Brads little elves will be kept in a job slaving away and this awesome game.
I am with you Neilo. I would prefer a boxed, non Steam version.
I am holding off until I am sure it is turn based and not real time.
