As a newby. If I was getting 3K for a Normal game and others were getting 30K for Crippling or whatever. I would quit the Metaverse. There would be no point in it for me. I don't have the time, or inclination to play at the higer difficulty levels. Just my point of view and I suspect that of many people.

Hate to rain on your party, BUT.. You need to keep new players in mind. All these comments are from experinced players. It is already difficult for a new player to work out how to play this game....lack of a good printed manual. That should be your top priority for Gal Civ2. If you make it too complicated for a newby, he, or she, will give up and the game will get a reputation for being impossibly difficult, even if it isn't.
