If Iran is selling weapons then 'ok', but if they sell weapons to perceived enemies of the US or the West then it is quite natural to be unhappy about it. This is the same for any country that sells weapons to people you don't want armed; you will of course not like it. I am more concerned about the possiblilty of Iran developing nuclear weapons. I'm looking forward to the final release. I am very glad to hear that you will have good tooltips. Hopefully that will make it a tad faster to learn than GalCiv was (I had some trouble getting things working well untill I had experimented a bit).

It certainly would be interesting to see the 1337 h4x0rz of GalCiv battle it out, but I too think that they should focus on the singleplayer aspect of the game. If it comes in an expansion then that is all right, but I probably wont be playing it much online.

Well, we must remember that nVidia was a bit surprised that ATi came up with a good design (the R300 and R400 are the same thing, just tweaked). ATi bought the basis for R300 from ArtX (ATi has yet to release a competitive product that they developed in house). R520 is supposed to be 'new', so it will be exciting to see what they come up with. nVidia: Better features. People with R400 are starting to feel the lack of SM3.0 and 16 bit FP plending for HDR. And now it seems that ATis answer to G70 will come more than a quarter after nVidias release.
