If you have enough hd space available I believe you can use winamp to convert the mp3 to wav and then use windows sound recorder to edit (split) the wav file. You can then use winamp to convert back to mp3. I'm sure there is an easier way to do this and that someone will tell us what it is

hehe, pesky yellow folders crop up everywhere, whereas what I want are dark, moody little folders a good example is on the taskbar - if I have an explorer window open as a folder (without the tree displayed on the left) I get a nice little custom icon on it's taskbar button. When you index the image to 16 colors (Image/Mode/Index Color), and you select Local (Adaptative) in the drop down, the 16 for the colors, select primaries for the Forced dropdown. as others do I switch off my pc before I go to bed and restart it the following morning, and although the bootscreen is visible for only a few seconds it just rounds off that front end nicely... exactly the same thing with logon screens, which I don't use to actually log on with, but they do make a sneaky little appearance as my pc boots or shuts down

using IconPackager didn't seem to affect all my IE favorite document icons, only about half for some reason, and it didn't affect the folders. Using the above method I managed to change the other half (although not yet the folders). There are other situations where icons dont appear changed too. eg I just uploaded a new desktop image for my profile and the browse for a jpg dialog had standard yellow windows icons, like the faves menu, whereas every other folder on my pc is skinned (or
