Can't play the game, crashes mid-launch in Sins of a Solar Empire Stardock.net Forums

i cannot even launch my game through steam, i have to go to the folder and start the Dev .exe file to "start" it, i'm playing with the mod: "Sins of a Galactic Empire" and when i start it i get this error:"Failed to find data file "RESEARCH_ARTIFACT_SUPPLY0.entity'. (SubPath = GameInfo)" I've tried a clean install aswell i've got no idea on how to fix this please ghelp me
