While playing a LAN game with my son, I dropped a health potion (smaller version - 1000hp) so he could pick it up. He immediately used it and saw that it was still in his inventory. He could then use it again and again. He was Regulus and I was Unclean Beast. It was on the Waterfall map.

Thank you!!!
Perhaps I don't know what I am doing, but I can't seem to use some of the hotkeys. For example the F12 (change model) hotkey does nothing at all, and to show the FPS I have tried both / & \ to no avail. Also, the 'A' hotkey doesn't seem to do an attack move anymore. I now can use wasd for camera movement (I actually like this), but there doesn't seem to be an attack move anymore. Also, did it change so you have to right click to enter the sto
I absolutely agree. It should be obvious as soon as you see the Demigod which team he is on.
/signed Mouse scrolling is a must have.
[quote who="Silver2Falcon" reply="16" id="1864044"]The first game I played I enjoyed not at all. This was partly because I had no idea what I was doing and partly because I couldn't scroll with my mouse at the edge of the screen. My second game I enjoyed a bit more--I began to get a handle on items, goals, and skills. My third game was when the game started being really, genuinly, fun. I had a pretty solid handle on what I was supposed to be doing, and had gotten pretty used to scro
I am also signed up. Looking forward to it.
Update: Resolved this by removing files in the virtual store directory in the app data directory. Not sure why there were files there, but once the screens.str file was removed from there I was good to go.
Any thoughts on the string not found error?
I'm having a problem with the new patch 1.95 for Twillight. I have a "string not found" option where the new real time clock option should be. And when I start a game or load a game, I get a string not found where the number of turns should be shown (and the am or pm on the real time clock is shown as "string not found"). I've uninstalled and reinstalled, 4 times, with no effect. I am on Vista home premium 32 bit, and I used Impulse to install.</
I'm having a string not found issue with the new clock both in game and in the options screen. It appears that I have the correct string file. I've uninstalled and reinstalled twice, still no luck. I'm using vista home 32bit btw. Oddly enough...I have a string not found option in the interface tab of the options. I believe this is where the clock option is supposed to be. do I need to redownload somthing?
You guys are the best!
It's responses from the devs like this that make me love Stardock. You just don't see that with other games. Thanks for a great game and for listening to us.
Strange...now it works just fine. I guess restarting a few times worked... :NOTSURE: Thanks for the help.
I just fired up Twilight of Arnor for the first time since it was released (played the beta for a few months however) and I thought I'd try a tournament game, however it says my account is marked with a cheater flag. Yikes! I've never even played a tournament game let alone cheated at one. So my question is, how do I get rid of the flag. Which files is it checking that somehow I've screwed up. Thanks for the help!
Will the ships be upgraded on their own at some point?
I've narrowed down this problem (in beta 6) to plans that the computer has auto created. Once they are created, if I create an upgrade (or the computer creates an upgrade) to that plan. I can't upgrade to it. For example if the computer auto generates a plan called firestorm m1 (which is not a core design). Then I go in and upgrade that design (add some new engines for example) and name it firestorm custome. If I had a already made ship which was a firestorm m1, I couldn't upgrade to the fi
Thanks for the response. Your response indicates that this is not a widespread problem, let me try and explain a little more clearly what I am doing. Actually, what I am doing is going to the existing plan in shipyard, clicking upgrade, changing the engine to a newer one, and changing the name, saving it. Then I go to one of the old ships that is out on patrol on the star map, select it and click the upgrade button under details. The only option I get is scout (whether it is tiny
Perhaps I've missed something, but I can't upgrade any of my ships to new designs (AI created or created by me) even though I use the plan of an existing ship and upgrade it in the shipyard. The only option I have when I click upgrade is to upgrade to a scout. Do I need to do something special to upgrade in Twilight? Clarification: I'm trying to upgrade the actual ships and not only the design. Thanks for the help.
Same problem here, also with Vista. Running as an admin account. Any suggestions? I e-mailed support but still haven't heard back. Just keep getting the beta version not available error.
It looks great. Did I miss this somehow? Wasn't there going to be an option to allow the AI more CPU time?
Why is everyone up in arms over this? Its not as though this is a new concept. MMORPGs are exactly the same way. You can't sell your copy to someone else, becuase you're already registered with that serial.
I rarely have 2 hours together to play a game, so SP is the only option for me. Thanks for providing a great SP experience. It is the only way I'd play even if MP was available.
I believe a work around is to only show the functional parts of the ship you're upgrading (middle icon/button on the top right of screen). If you press that first then add parts I think you'll find it will let you add them. At least it seems to work for me. YMMV.
