The reason I ask is that this game seems similar to both of the above mentioned board games. Form follows function, perhaps? Anyhoo, love the game, but please for the love of all that is holy get a better manual out there.
Any old fogies out there ever play this old Avalon Hill Board Game ("Stellar Conquest")? Or for that matter a newer Board Game from Germany called (translated) "Starfarers from Catan"? Also... Did anyone ever pick up on the fact that the planet shown under the Starbase that is the background of the Main Menu Screen is Earth, but at an odd angle? (look for italy in the lower left corner)
