All, Thanks for your inputs. I guess my machine was just being cranky. I tried again last night and after looking like it was going to lock up again it decided to go ahead and load the game. Now I'm back in business!!

Loading with Windows XP in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

I just put XP on my computer after having to totally rebuild it to include new hard drive. But GC won't load up. It worked fine under ME. When the setup window appears I click on install but the computer locks up. Has anyone else had that problem and what did you do to correct it? Thanks for any help you can give.
