If there were to be a film based on this, what genre would be suitable? What kind of concept would bring Anti-Time about? where what and who would be involved. Post your thoughts!

Any one else have any thoughts on this?
That Mr. "XX" I meant that the big "Terminator" entrance would cause the attention, not the man walking backwards. any more thoughts on this? i thank you all for participating in this interesting topic. I'm actually submitting this is a script if it turns out well. i thought this might actually work better as a horror film as the backwards action thing looks freaky, and sounds freaky. I now have an honourable challange for all you smart folk. Solve the following parado
ah, cool. Alright. So, time can be changed. But here's where it get's weird. I read this book once by Ray Bradbury called "A sound of Thunder" which describes how a tourist went into the past to hunt dinosaurs that were going to be killed anyway by forces of nature. He accidentally steps on some butterfly or something which then chain reacts into an alternate future where everything, language in particular, has been changed. Now, I figured that if I were to do the same, that i'd then come back t
You're right about your second post Halluci, but no-one said he was coming from Earth.
OK, hello everyone, it's me again. Back with more brain-aching theories. I've not necessarily moved from my favourite topic on Dimensions, however I do have the persistant urge to explore postulations involving paradoxical occurances. Right, so, last time my discussion was on the Fourth Dimension. I just want to thank all those super-intelligent guys (including Adam) who posted their thoughts even though some of them were just way to confusing and technical for me to interpret being an average t
Do you realise what you've titled this thread? "Hard Drive Migration" what do these do exactly? crawl out of your computer and migrate down south for the Winter?? So... what, they come back and they now run faster because they've had to endure the cold and have had a work out sesh. Yeah so "My hard drive came back with scratches all over him because a polar bear attacked him and then half-devoured him - so... i've had to kick my hard drive out". *sigh* sorry this post is quite utterly pointless
I didn't say it was longer, I said it would be a longer trip. I stated that the fastest way froward is a straight line. Alright? But if we bent their dimension so the little man is no longer running in a straight line (to us. the superior), he will not be running as fast (to us) because he is running around a bend. This would be relative to our (superior) motion. Now the 'little man', from his dimensional POV, he will still be running a straight line, taking him 10 mins to do 10 laps. T
Oh and one thing that's become interesting. I was trying to find out why most people believe that time is the 4th dimension. Now, they were right that it's time, but not that it was the 4th dimension. Actually, time is eternity, it's now. It will always be the superior. What i mean is, in the 4th spatial dimension, time will be the '5th' dimension, it will always be above. Here's how i came up with this crappy theory: It came to me that the 4th dimension is actually a mark, a s
I just want to appologise to Adam for calling him stupid(er). I know it's taken me a while but understand my suffering from having my PC removed for ...certain reasons. Adam, sorry. I know I should not have made the impression to all these superemely imaginative gentlemen, but I was only asking for help on how to convince you. You're not stupid. on the contrary, I think you're the most creative and intelligent person I have ever met, and every time i come to your house, it's like visiti
Don't mean to brag... but I don't suppose anyone has started on a Hypercube wallpaper yet...?
The 3d dimensional forces would have effects on a 2-d world. they just wouldn't perceive it as gravity. Then again, this all depends on whether or not dimensions can interact with each other. Gravity, from what we observe, is descendable. Meaning that if it exists in the 4th dimension, then it exists in the 3rd dimension, thus it exists in the 2nd dimension and so on.
Wow that's impressive, Paxx. It makes sense doesn't it? For all those that have read much about the 4th dimension and are starting to 'visualise': Things that suggest the 4th dimension IS there. - Have you ever considered how a four-dimensional being would appear to you if it suddenly came into your room? I think they would resemble flesh-coloured balloons constantly changing in size. We would see disconnected blobs of flesh some attached to claws, teeth, lips, eyes, or ha
Adam says: then they have height and width Adam says: Depth is a third-dimensional axis Adam says: Length and width* Adam says: You said to me that they have a height/depth in respects to our world, equivalent to the height/depth of a string Adam says: Okay, I see where you're comin' from in terms of height and depth being perpendicular. /\/\att: The 4th Dimensi۞n says: let's try and come to an agreement here because I’m tired and I want to go to
True, but time isn't a spatial dimension. despite the fact that you need time and motion to exist in physical dimensions, it is still irrelevant since time and motion are both representational dimensions. but yes I do understand what you mean, and in various ways, you are correct.
Oh - My - God! looka this. Adam says: and i still disagree with you lol /\/\att: The 4th Dimensi۞n says: really? Adam says: yup /\/\att: The 4th Dimensi۞n says: not as intelligent then.. Cos the people who argued that you couldn’t live without height understood what I meant, and now agree with me. Adam says: so you're basically sayin that im less intelligent than you for not fully agreeing with your side of the argument? Adam says: e
Yeah it is very cool. That's why I've been fascinated by it for years. Check it out though, (I know it sounds pathetic and weird,) I can understand and visualise the 4th dimension so well that I actually feel confined by the 3 dimensions I exist in now. Whew. Stereo-scopic (or binocular) vision does indeed serve the purpose of visual depth. However there is more to it than that. Binocular vision is a representational dimension. We have representational dimensions (colour, time,
Oh and here's what happens when a hypercube moves 'through' our 3 dimensional world. (imagine a sphere plunging through flatland, the flatlanders would only see cross-sections of the sphere, meaning they would only see a circle suddenly appear growing larger until it dissappears) http://cips02.physik.uni-bonn.de/ScienceSite/hypercubus/animator/main.html
Don't you have to ask for permission to use that animation? I was actually gonna use it myself but I didn't wanna play phlagerism. I've been interested in higher dimensions for years. The hypercube isn't a Tesseract by the way a tesseract is an unfolded hypercube (like the Net is an unfolded cube). Remember that the hypercube only looks like a cube within a cube from one four dimensional angle. Rotate around the hypercube 3 dimensionally and the cube will always have another smaller cube inside
Yeah i'm a real big nerd + fanatic about higher dimensions? (particularly the 4th). uh this isn't an opinion post about it (although you say whatever you want about it) but mainly a request. Would it be possible for me to ask one of the designers here to create a really cool wallpaper of a Hypercube? (the cube within a cube perspective) and like, use all ur cool..effects to make it look good and illusionegetic etc..? yeah, cool. thanks. seeya.
Oki dokes.
Just going through the menu list on the left, all the wallpapers, blinds, cursors etc. 'Was thinking there should be a ScreenSaver List. Are they too hard to program or something?
Yeah I'll get the Trial of Dreamweaver my mate just recommended it. I didn't accuse anyone of power abuse, I just believe you should ask about your accusation first to eradicate the assumption. Assumptions suck don't they? My mother always assumes I am smoking in her house from the smoke patches on some of the ceiling in the Kitchen. What she fails to realise is that her friends smoke, and they and my mother are usually in the Kitchen for the usual gossip. Sorry but you also misunderstand about
Thanks.
I think you guys are kind of taking advantage of your administrator powers here. That was a little unfair to lock the thread. By downloading web packages, I meant free trials. See, you should really consider things before you just 'lock' a thread, or excile someone. Now can someone more civilised please tell me a few Web Designing packages I could look up.
