I think the new system is OK, and when a host is using the eject options wisely a full connection is much faster realized
Quoting Gabberkooij, reply 5 Stardock can no longer provide localised versions. You wil need to use an old one and set the language yourself WTF? That's bulls*** ! The strings are already written and voices recorded, how can't they put the sounds again in the game??
Well my guess is that Atari want to have something special/extra when they sell it in E

You can look for yourself where people are coming from: http://www.demigodthegame.com/opengames.aspx

Did you use ImpulseReactorOptions.exe on the 2 systems to ensure the ranges on them?
Well some players need a buff in communications :-)
add /windowed 1024 768 to the shortcut
with the current beta you will see more people in vanilla. If you want the favor items fixed you should use the coming beta
This page is not properly shown: http://forums.demigodthegame.com/351037 It is cut off just after the header of the first message. And looks like: I've seen this at several other pages and is very frustrating. This is not only on 1 system, also on another computer connected by another ADSL conn
Is it needed to delete the game.prefs file? Or can we just delete all the other files?
Goodluck, and hopefully you can soon take an well earned rest [e digicons]-_-[/e]
Are you going to sell this technology to others?
From IRC: Yarlen: I can't comment other than we will no longer be providing non-English versions of the game. So well, maybe the retail version and it's updates will have other localizations, but maybe they are all skipped. There are dutch and german translations on this forum. Maybe it's time to also have threads for the other localizations...

So if i want to be sure portforwarding is working i need to use the beta. Hmm, going to try to setup my internal network to use that. Going to setup my 2 gaming systems this evening.

Maybe a list of good firewalls can be created? I mean there must be firewalls with minimal stutter. And I asume having a fast computer will help. That way people can choose to disable firewall or buy a better one.
seriosuly, you almost didn't buy a great game cause of drm. you people are so silly
After I played a pirated version, I decided to buy the game. It was too good not to play it. But I really hate that activation limit. So I didn't buy other games with it except for Spore after they promised an deactivator. And yeah, I didn't buy (or play) Mirror's Edge because of it's DRM.
not sure but you can try this: - uncheck pre release - restart impulse - verify demigod installation - downgrade Maybe the old language settings are back now, but if not - change game.prefs for GUI translation or deinstall game, install game will put translation back
Verifying works, probably some left over in the registry after deinstalling
My thoughts on a demo for Demigod: Limited time - 3 days online (only count days actually played) Give some free weekends etc Make sure it is a branche of the current version with all the bug fixes etc. To make sure it stays 1 online community.
this is stored in the game.prefs in the my documents/my games/gas powered games/demigod Then open this file with notepad, search for the following line "options_overrides = {" and add this "language = 'DE'," right under it. Probably some other thing is needed to reset the voices back. This could be done because the language lua files needs to be updated. (but maybe there was another reason)
