Sheeesh.............................. Sorry I didn't get the Cheney substantiation. I will be looking for it. But Daiwa, did you read any of that article? It was well substantiated with cites and links. It points to the slimy history of the entire Bush/Cheney/Bin Laden regime. Maybe it's time for you to start substantiating some of your beliefs, like what a stand-up and honest guy Cheney really is. Maybe, you can submit a link to what that gu

Myrrander, fair enough. I understand yours, and others point about the lack of backup to that story. However, I am not an investigative reporter, so I rely on the investigation done by others. One particular story, found here: http://www.fromthewilderness.com/free/ww3/carlyle.html is not specifically about Cheney and his dealings with Iraq, though it alludes to it. This story goes much deeper, into the investigation of the entire Bush, Carlyle,

Myrrander, do you ever feel like you'd rather have a root canal than debate this stuff? I sure do. I have to say, JU is the most vicious, arrogant blog site I've ever come across. I don't understand it. I don't understand the hatred and venom that spews forth against democrats from these guys. It's sick. It's also very sad.

Daiwa, go do some research. Go to sites that actually have informative articles. A few sites that come to mind are: http://www.commondreams.org http://www.truthout.org http://www.optruth.org/main.cfm http://www.fair.org/ http://www.gregpalast.com/ http://www.truthout.org/environment.htm http://www.sierraclub.org/wwatch/ http://www.gnn.tv/index.html http://scoop.agonist.org/ I am not uninformed just be

Thank you, Sandy, for including me in your list. I continue to try and bring the message forward. BUSH IS NOT HELPING THIS COUNTRY BUSH LIED AND PEOPLE DIED BUSH LOVES HIS CORPORATE CRONIES AT THE EXPENSE OF EVERYONE ELSE (utility companies, pharaceuticals, logging industry, the Saudis, etc.) BUSH SQUANDERED THE BUDGET SURPLUS, AND CONTINUES TO DO SO EVERY DAY BUSH IS TRASHING THE ENVIRONMENT BUSH HASN'T FUNDED THE PROGR

So, on that note, my dog is now regestered. So is my cat. So are my dead brother, mother and father. I spoke to them in a seance and they agreed to be resurrected in order to make sure Kerry gets elected. And, they're gonna get out the dead vote. They were always very political in life. Not surprising they're carrying the torch in death. We Dems are so evil <img src="..

Well, personnally, I consider Bush as an ignorant idiot. Not that I think people who would vote for him are so as well. Probably most of them are republicans and would never be caught dead voting democrat. Paxx, I think you're right on the money. I, for the life of me, cannot understand how anyone can think Bush is anything but an idiot. This c

Daiwa, I have a visceral dislike for Cheney because the facts DO MATTER TO ME. I can't stomach Bush because the facts DO MATTER TO ME. Thing is, I have watched these two deep six our economy, sink this country into the worst deficits in history, which have resulting in the worst employment record since Truman. Record numbers of people are now without health insurance. This administration is sidestepping or overturning every environmental regulation

I was the one you called a jerk. Sandy was just pointing out the fact that you have this proclivity to call people names. It doesn't matter that it wasn't directed specifically at her. So, I reiterate my comment to you drmiler. Grow the F*** up!!

Pictoratus, I do agree about opinions vs facts circulationg around this election. Fact is, opinions and facts circulate all the time. It's just that it gets magnified during these very divisive times. But, you have to agree, opinions regarding both candidates are all over the place. And, it's very difficult to dismiss opinions when they support one candidate over another, and that candidate happens to be your choice. It cuts both ways, and we wei

I'm not usually a big fan of Thomas Friedman, but I think this is an excellent article: http://www.nytimes.com/2004/10/14/opinion/14friedman.html?hp Just felt like sharing....................

I apologize for posting above as an anonymous user. I didn't realize I was not logged in. But, yeah, it was me, responding to drmiler's nonsense and pictoratus' question. It astounds me that drmiler would be so presumptous to write that the reason I take only one side would be because unlike him my side taking would have nothing to do with right or wrong. He presumes I'm just a troll, I guess. Like I give a rat's what he thinks. No matter. I don'

Regarding ObjectDock, the flyouts are useless if you can't see the labels. I can't see the labels for any of my OD+ icons, for that matter. And, the flyouts open, but they don't rotate/around to advance more folders. But, as I said, it's useless anyway, without labels. But, I cannot even figure out how this works. Where can you apply the right click. When I right click on the desktop, for instance, all I get is the same ol' right click menu. Nothing has changed. Nothing is differ

Bush's mistakes: Lowering taxes on the richest people in this country, and giving the middle and lower classes a tax cut that is totally meaningless to them, or shall I say us. A tax reduction of $200 for me isn't going to change my lifestyle one iota. But, the overall cost to society for cutting the taxes, particularly during wartime, is criminal. It means reductions in social programs, the safety net for those who really need it, for the

I am convinced that if it wasn't for Bush 41, Bush 43 would never have been president. He's the most corrupt, unqualified, narrow-minded president this country has ever seen. His vision is so obscured by his conflicts of interest, it's no wonder the USA was attacked. It's no wonder oil prices have hit all time highs. It's no wonder the rest of the world hates us now. Truly, if Bush 43 had to go it alone, he would have gotten nowhere.

The level of hypocrisy exhibited by the Bush/Cheney regime is sickening. The fact that Cheney and Halliburton provided assistance to Saddam to sidestep and abuse the oil for food program is something they really don't want us to know. http://www.commondreams.org/views04/1012-33.htm The Bush/Cheney regime and the republican camp sickens me. "I am sooooooooooo dissappointed in you right now. You just earned a troll buddy!" I have a question: If someone rates an article as trolling, does that reduce a bloggers point value? Or, does it increase it, just because it's verification that it was read? Or, does it increase the point value, because the original poster is stirring the "pot"? On another note, this post is as deserving of multiple troll ratings, as it is nothin
