Ok Guys...I got the newer version installed now...1.24.41 version 39...But I still get the "you are not authorized to view this page" message and I still see the Galciv forum threads posted in WC-General...so I am basically seeing to forums in one but half of them I can't open...
Hi Koasati...I already had the WC-General...WC-Help...& WC-Skinning discussions checked...Auto updates checked...I closed...reopened...even restarted my PC and I still have version 1.22.247 Build 38 of Stardock Central. Not sure what I else I can do now.
Thats what I have checked Yrag...but I'm still seeing the Galv threads within General discuss. In fact all the threads in the Galv discussion are showing up here.
Hi Yrag...my version is 1.22 and I went to stardock thinking I would find the latest version there...but they only have the same version I have.
I am seeing all the threads from the Galv discussion under the general discussion. And when I click on those threads is when I get the message. How exactly can I update Stardock Central itself...I don't see any settings for updating it. [Message Edited]
I am also not seeing the same posts in my WinBrowser that I am seeing in Stardock Central. Could this be some sort of bug or server error?
Can someone tell whats up with this? There are several posts that are giving me this notice. Never had this before. It now seems as though a vast majority of the posts here are now giving me this message. I'm also now seeing alot of posts having to do with the Galactic Civilizations. Regarding email protection. When we post our email addresses in these discuss groups...is there any way we can have them spaced such as.... username @ domain.com ... so as not to be picked up by emailbots that hunt for email addresses? Once you have downloaded a skin and want to apply it you need to right click on your desktop and click on properties...then appearance to pick your skin. I had a problem simliar to this and got the same error message until I started accessing my skins this way. Hope this helps. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/image

Regseeker is a good tool for finding and cleaning the Registry. When I first got my PC I had 6 months of free AOhell but dumped them within 2 days. I uninstalled everything to do with AOhell...at least I thought I did until I got Regseeker and found roughly 150 instances of files left behind. It also has a backup in case you make a boo boo. Just do a search for Regseeker and you will find it. <BR
Another thing...and I'm not sure if it applies to you only having the WB's app, but you have to access your WB's to make changes by right clicking your desktop and then clicking properties. Until I found this out I kept getting the "WBload.exe encountered a problem and has to close" prompt. And it also effected my skins as well for some reason. Hi Travis...I already have the shortcuts removed through my registry...so really there shouldn't anything there. I also have all the right checks in place in the tweak manager within stardock central to stop it from there as well...I think its just the damn icon gremlins at it again...but hey...I'll give that tweakui thingy a try just for the hell of it...can't hurt...can it?

Does anyone know why shortcut overlays would start showing up on some on my desktop icons? I haven't changed anything and I don't have it checked in the setting s to show these. I also have it changed within my registry to eliminate them as well.
