Does anyone know if the bugs have been fixed in the current version of WB4.20.17. The one bug in particular I'm referring to is where the areas around the start button and tool tray are sometimes not skinned. I can re-apply the skin and it fixes it for the time I'm online, but when I go offline and come back on that portion of skin is gone again.

No problem Jafo...I can and will always respect a websites rules. But It's one thing if a site lays out the rules ahead of time and someone trys to get passed them, but when a wallpaper is submitted, accepted, and then removed because of one persons opinion or propaganda...then that is a problem that needs to be addressed. I just get tired of people laying blame on inanimate objects..i.e. guns, cars, pot...rather than taking responibilty for their own actions and then I'm told I'm being offensiv
Ok...let's start burning the books. I found this thread to be a personal attack against freedom and an insult to those that fought and died for it. Everyone has a right to their opinion, but when that opinion denies someone else of their freedom...you crossed the line and made it personal. And if I'm not mistaken...I think I saw some hidden messages in some of these wallpapers. We had better call out the morality cops because it's corupting my morals. But hey...the world is now a bette
I am certainly NOT referring to those who serve in the military...I am referring to the ones putting you in harms way for their own personal gain though. The ones who I have no doubt knew full well that you and your family would be exposed to agent orange. And yes HG...I have put my own freedom on the line to stand up for my beliefs...I've done so since the sixties and I will continue to do it every day of my life. I do not take it lightly that people have fought and died for the freedom I have.
Oh...I guess there is no point in working on a sixties theme skin? So much for freedom of speech and expression!...Once again the people are oppressed...
Geez...I thought this was about something pornographic, but it's just about the depiction of a marijuana cigarette? I had better not see anything to do with alcohol on here then. I mean really...and this is no slash at SirPhoon...he is certainly entitled to his opinion...but there is absolutely "nothing" wrong with marijuana despite this governments attempt at continually blowing smoke...no pun intended...up peoples butts. Alcohol kills more people than marijuana ever could, but yet we accept th
My post should have read "I have NO tolerance for people like that" but I'm sure you all figured that out... [Message Edited]
I find it insulting that this guy has the title of "citizen" in front of his nic. And in my opinion people like that should simply be banned completely. I'm sorry, but I have tolerance for people like that.
Marriage is a womans institution, and your the inmate!
The problem I had when I downloaded the latest version of Wb was that sometimes it wouldn't skin the start button, then sometimes it wouldn't skin the system tray. I could re-apply the skin, but then when I restarted my PC it would do the same thing. So until they get that bug worked out I've rolled back to the previous version and I'm anxious to see that happen.
How about TweakXP.com?
My nic is the same as the first website I ever built. After I finished it I had to come up with a name for it. So since it had to do with teaching people how to build a website with a WebTv and had all these "gizmos" and I was on the "web"...it didn't take much of a brain storm to come up with the nic. A taxi passenger tapped the driver on the shoulder to ask him a question. The driver screamed, lost control of the car, nearly hit a bus, went up on the footpath, and stopped centimeters from a shop window. For a second everything went quiet in the cab, then the driver said, "Look mate, don't ever do that again. You scared the daylights out of me!" The passenger apologized and said, "I didn't realize that a little tap would scare you so much." The driver replied, "S
He probably ran out of coffee or something...
Yeah...I've been having that problem as well. I would try to download something and the default image in sysmetrix would popup on my desktop.
As far as I know I have the most recent version of sysmetrix. And when I try opening the christmastime wallpaper it says it is a bad zip file of a split zip file? [Message Edited]
Hey Bones!..I see you have the christmas time skin by mormegil...did you have a problem opening the zip file for the backgrounds? I downloaded that file but the thing wouldn't extract to my folder. I had to click on the preview and save as...in order to get the wallpaper. And if I'm not mistaken that one wanted to open with sysmetrix as well. [Message Edited]
Anything to make life difficult...
I've never had this problem with other icon packages, I just had this problem with duopixel icons and a few others. Otherwise most packages open with iconpackager. How would these settings be changed without me changing them? Was there some default setting that caused the change in an update or something like that? Oh yeah...when icon packages are opened with icon developer...does that install the icons or must I install them from there as well. Again, I never had this problem before.
Oh yeah Bones...does that straighten out the download window when I click on these skins or will I need to do that each time?
Thanks Bones! Thats what I needed to know!
OK Travis...I wasn't aware that was a possibility, but I never changed anything in those settings. Most things open with the appropriate program, it has just been things like the icons for duopixels...i.e. AlienMind. Try clicking on download and tell me what comes up for you in the "open with ?" download window. [Message Edited] [Message Edited]
Ok...when I click under a skin where it says download and the window comes up that says "save this file" ..."open with ?"..."download this file later"...how does someone change the "open with ?" portion of that? Usually when I go to download something like a WB it says "open with windowblinds" or an icon package is opened with iconpackager. But for example, when I try to download the icon packages for duopixels it is opened with sysmetrix which doesn't make sense to me. <img src="http://images.s
OK...can someone explain to me why it is that when I go to download something like icons I am prompted to open them with Sysmetrix rather than Iconpackager. I am just curious as to why there is no consistancy in downloads being opened with the appropriate program. I would assume it would be... Icons = Iconpackager Cursors = CursorXP WindowBlinds = Windowblinds Sysmetrix = Sysmetrix It's just a little confusing and sometimes frustrating when your prompted
Hi Yrag...any idea if the 4.20.017 version addresses the disappearing start & taskbar skin problem?
