I downloaded Mormegils christmastime wallpaper with no problem but it won't unzip. Any reason for this or any way to fix this problem?

While in Stardock Central try clicking...File...Archive/Restore...Restore Existing, and then pick out the version of Control Center you want to reinstall. And in the future make sure you are archiving everything before updating, which you probably did without knowing.

I agree with EventHorizon...nothing deceptive there. 84 cents is quite a bargain for what is offered here. I plan on renewing my subscription for as long as this site is here. And I don't see anything wrong with having a donate to this site link either. I mean really...if these guys are forking out 10,000 in operating costs or at least trying to...84cents a month is nothing.

I still think the way to go would be to limit nonsubscribers a little bit. That would cut back on bandwidth and save a little needed money. They do the same thing at Webshots.com and they get tons of visitors as well. You can see all of the great photos but you can't download "really" great ones unless you pay a small fee. Plus you are limited to how much you can download in one day. And every place I go I see Webshot screensavers on everyones PC's. WC is one of the few great places on the web a

Can't that be done by simply updating the account info? Then the previous email address could be rendered invalid for use on the site. I'm sure something like that could be made possible.

I for one do not think it unreasonable to at least ask for a small amount for non-subscribers...let's say $5.00 to be able to download skins. So far I have purchased ObjectDesktop and became a level 4 subscriber, and even now with all my own money problems I am trying to think of how I can help out. I get alot of enjoyment out of all the hard work others put into these skins and asking for a small amount of money is not asking alot. Does anyone know where I can find a desktop icon for my WinCustomize shortcut? When I first created the shortcut it had a nice icon, but then defaulted to the "big blue E" icon.The first one was the curled up little green lizard guy, but then poooof! Gone!

Travis...when you reinstall the older version it will ask if you want to update WB's blinds in your stardock list...don't do it because you will just reinstall the newer version again...just ignore the update prompt. And don't totally ignore Yrag's suggestions, because he knows more about this stuff than I do. I only knew how to fix this by figuring out on my own. Since rolling mine back to the previous version everything is working fine.

Hey Travis...it's possible that your stuff was archived and you didn't know it. If you click on "file" then "archive/restore" then "restore existing" it should bring up a window with dated versions of everything you had archived. Find one dated before you downloaded the latest version and click on it to restore it.

Yes c242...that's what I'm talking about. If anyone else has this problem just restore your older version and everything will get back to normal. It will be my guess that once stardock gets wind of the problem they will get it fixed. So I guess we'll have to wait. And Bones2112...there has to be a way for you to get the older version back, would it be possible if I downloaded my files to my website for you to copy into yours? Not sure if that would work or not?

Since updating to the newest WB version I now have an eratic skinning problems. The problem is that the taskbar is only partially skinned. Sometimes the start button is not skinned and then sometimes the area around the button on the system tray is not skinned. If I go and re-apply the skin I am using this applies the the portion of the skin that is missing, but then when I restart my PC the next time it is gone again. And when I try to rollback to the previous version of WB4 that option is not

I've had a website at Tripod which costs me a mere 5 bucks a month for 50megs of space for the past 5 years and love it. I also believe you can still get free space there which gets you 20 megs of space. There is also 250megs.com which is still free as far as I know. Is anyone else having this problem? When I click on a suite to download I see the download window flash on the screen for a second and then nothing. This happens when I try to download suites by duopixels or pixtudio. After this happens it shows in my download manager that it was downloaded, but there is no preview in my theme manager as I see on the site.
