I want to thanks StarDock for their swift action here. I received a full refund the same day of my post and then, they "seem" to have fixed the problem. I went from 5.01 to 5.04 (3 updates inside a week, I think developper got busy on that bug !) so I bought back a permanent licence of Fence 5. So far so good. First bug, Screnshot thumbnail are back, second bug, Screen ordering on reboot. I'm guessing my complete description from a develop

Hi, yes, Fence 5 setting survive and going back to Fence 4 will work, including virtual directory. Just make sure you don't check the box "Erase my settings" in the uninstall process. However, and this, I didn't fully tested, "IT IS POSSIBLE" that if you go back later on to Fence 5 you'll have lost previous Fence 5 parameters. Fence 5 "seem" to be completely compatible with Fence 4 settings (and that make sence in a developper point of view) Howev

Yes, I was on 5.01 when I wrote in the forum about the bug. I also asked Stardock to refund my subscription of Object Desktop (57$) because I don't want to pay for a defective software. I offered (instead of money refund) to give me a permanent licence of Fence 4 (43$), I'm awaiting your answer, been 3 days. But... you'll be happy to know that I diagnosed the problem. I found the bug (not the solution though) It appear that Fence is not detecting Monitor correc

Fence 5 is unusable. How can they put that on market and not have tested it ? I got 3x 1920x1080 screen with an nVidia Geforce 4060 randomly on reboot, my left screen is OK, my main (mid) screen is EMPTY (no fence) and my Right screen got the fence of my Main screen. then, if I move the fence from right screen back to main (mid) screen and I RECREATE the fence of right screen, when I'll reboot back I'll get TWICE FENCE overlayed over each other on right screen.</p

The reason behind that is simple. Stardock doesn't want the user to create new mouse cursor anymore. first of all, in previous version, they used the .CurXpTheme format cursor wich was a .zip file renamed .CurXpTheme. You could extract file from them, modify them and create your own theme based on the work of someone else. This created copyright issue they deemed to fix. Stardock created the .CursorFx file format wich is propriatary (own by them) and they do not want t

This has been an annoyance and a request to be fixed since FENCE v1.0 We're at Fence v4 now and it appear they don't intend to fix this annoyance. I would also like my "Fence Title bar" to remain on Top of the windows. There is no way to do it. If we move the fence and get too close of border, the Fence title bar go to bottom. It's extremely annoying especially since it's a "feature" and a feature is normally "Easy" to fix. Just add something like

Hi basj , monitor size had nothing to do with it Only screen resolution is important. I confirm the bug mentionned by TomTheBadAssCat For multiple screen, a background image must be set in Windows [ Mosaik ] mode. This mode is missing from DeskScapes. I provide test image for 1980x1080 monitor resolution : 2 screen : 3840x1080 3 sc
