cultural conquest considered military conquest? in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

in my first game, all planets from all major races joined my realm. never did any of my soldiers fire a single shot in combat. however, i was told that i had won a military conquest and defeated my enemies. this is plain wrong -- isnt it? however, i forgot to go online and thus had to reload the game. the second time, the last planet did not join and so my score was significantly lower since it was considered a cultural victory, then. the most funniest thing was the lieute

thx, for the help. where is this meta registration page, where i can change my name? i clicked on metaverse, register player, then i see my serial number + the name Morbutor. i click register. i think it says im registered. then i look at the metaverse scores and type in my alias that i accidently used as well as 'Morbutor' but it says that there are no entries -- both times. so, where is my high score ?? it must have been submitted. where can i find it?<br

ive submitted twice, the first time i accidently inserted a wrong alias. is that a problem? it hasnt so far shown up anywhere in the metaverse.

since i am responsible for the people i rule, i will never play an evil empire -- not even once to see the events and techs ;) that might seem idiotic, but i cannot work against my people. i simply cannot let them down. and i cannot work with people that do. sounds like im a self-righteous zealot. cant help it. :p

about my invisible battlesips: ive loaded the game again, and now i can see my battlesip. :) its still a bug, but now i know how to 'fix' it myself. just wanted to let you know.

im new to the game, ive updated via stardock, yesterday. patch and bonus pack. i have created my first battlesip, but i cant see it on the main map. its somehow invisible. is this a bug? is there anything that i could do? thx in advance for any help :)

hi, i dunno whether this is a bug or a feature, but my battleships are sort of invisible to me. they seem to have no icon/graphic perhaps. on the main screen, where i click on my ships and fleet and give orders to them. i have no clue whether this was caused by 1.05 or the bonus pack. ive updated via stardock (and bought in a local shop) the game today. sorry if im posting in the wrong thread. hope im not :) [Message Edited] [Message Edited]
