The Tactical AP consumption code, for spells, is bugged/whacked/busted whatever. If I don't move and cast, I consume all my AP points. But, if I move say 3 of 4 AP's worth, then I can still cast, what had been, a moment earlier, a 4 AP spell? Something definitely wrong. The idea of having to have a Shard to even cast a Spell of it's Book type is killing the Magi

Turn 237. Debug.err attached. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8370296/debug.rar I would also note that the game seemed more sluggish than usual, both in Strategical and Tactical modes.

It is a sad synopsis of Online play today. Get in on the ground floor if playing MP and keep up or forget it. Become/ be considered Elite, get to always play on the winning side, or stay SP side. Online MP Noob bashing is a Game and Sport, in and of itself today. DoW1 was a blast, large masses and huge death battles. Just getting into one of those, win or lose, was FU

The 4th video demonstrated both items that makes Tact battles both FUN (getting lucky and winning) and the quite frustrating. It may be just me, but often, way to often to be coincidence imho, the RNG will provide great HIT values on a enemy target until you reach that moment where the Final Blow would finish it.(Overkill not withstanding) BUT, instead of a BLOC

As of late, the AI seems to be very persistent about razing early, poorly/undefended settlements. Although a right piss off, it is not the end of the world as if your SoV is away, he/she can return and rebuild, or start up elsewhere. It does kill any sort of momentum but that is the price to be paid I guess. I kinda of like that behavior personally as it does force you to have someone (Champ/Hero) stay at hom

It would quite be neat to watch a Lighting Bolt, cast into a 3x3 grid full of enemie

I agree it is as much about perception of how the fight transpires as it is the actual values that show on the screen. The random factor has value in that it allows for that "If I can just hit him this time, I can win!" when at the outset of that fight, it was rather obvious that I should lose. It adds excitement value. You can never have enough excitement value in a game</sp

Currently, imo, Charisma is the only Stat of little use, as it requires a stay at home character to go and fight, to obtain any increase that they can be then use after being sent back home. Yes one could fight the local battles, but if you don't increase offensive/ defensive stats, then coming out to fight gets more and more dangerous with each Season that passes. The 3 point systems is working pretty well.
