All I know is if you have a ring around Uranus it's time to shut down and hit the shower. This is the funniest thing I've read all day.

The clue is in what they smoke: "oisatsana." Backwards it spells "anastasio." Trey Anastasio was in the band Phish, and if you know anything about the band Phish, they are heavily associated with marijuana. It's just a clever reference to the aliens smoking marijuana even though they don't "call" it that.
