In keeping with my penchant for weird I opened my event viewer local as per Frankief's instructions. The very first entry is dated 3/28/2011. Time was 3:30 a.m. My question is how is it possible considering I've only had this laptop less than three months?
Uvah, any events that occurred while your machine was being set up at the factory will still show up under the event viewer.
I know it's event viewer. What category in event viewer? How often is it happening?
It is in the "errors" under "event viewer local" Happens several times a day and always when I am hovering around the right side of a window to expand or close it.
I know I'll look stupid for asking but, where did you find that Frankief?
No, not stupid! Just open your event viewer and look for errors, hi lite it and in the right panel click "view all instances of this event" You can copy and paste the text from the actual error. Quickest way to get there is to type in "event" in the start menu. [e digicons]:meow:[/e]

This is a tough nut! I have three kids from a previous marriage and no matter how they have behaved in the past or what hurt they have thrown our way, my husband would never ask me to choose between them and him. He makes concessions that I won't even make for them. On the other hand, he has a son who has taken severe advantage of me and caused me great pain, but he is my husbands son and I have had to be adult enough to put my feelings aside and accept him into "our" home for the sake of
Quick question! When I arrive at the knowledgebase page it is prompting for a login. It will not accept my WC login. Is there a separate login for the knowledgebase page?

Okay. think I figured it out! I saved the PNG without merging my layers. As soon as I saved as PNG with merged layers, I got the transparent background. I appreciate all of the input and now have a new avenue to explore! [e digicons]
It is set to transparent, but it still is saving the PNG as an Ico with a black background. I am lost. It shows with the transparent checkerboard but saves with a black background.[e digicons]x_x[/e]
The black background is an indication that it is being saved as a .BMP image. PNG images have an inherently transparent background. Maybe double check to see what ID is saving it as?
No, I am saving from Photoshop as a transparent PNG and it shows transparent in icon developer but when I save the icon it saves with a black background. I can open the same png in Photoshop and save as an icon and the background is transparent.
Questions??? I have been making icons for my own personal use via the ico plugin for Photoshop. If I wanted to make them to distribute, how would I go about it? Whenever I try to save icons through icon developer, even though the png is on a transparent background, it always shows up with a black background.[e digicons]:-"[/e]
Sorry to be so remiss in stating how the solution worked. The one from the download link worked without any unwanted add ons. The one from the store just refused to install. Have since uninstalled Impulse/Gamestop and all seems to be well except for WB occasionally not loading at start up and occasionally crashing Explorer. Thanks for those who tried to help me! Greatly appreciated. [e digicons]:meow:[/e] [e digicons]
