When I got my new system I was directed to download Impulse and install all from there. Worked like a dream. Hope whoever stole it is enjoying all of my stuff!

Funny thing, since both of my LCD monitors were stolen on Friday and all I had left in the house, hidden under a bed, was a 14 inch CRT, I had to rush out Saturday and buy something to fill the void until homeowners settles up. My main monitor that I used everyday was a Samsung 910 19 inch 1280x1024 and my new one was a 22" Dell high resolution 1650x1050. MicroCenter only had one 19" standard LCD in stock and I got it for under $200 and I swear it has a better picture than my $500
My home was burglarized today while I was at work. My brand new computer, wide screen monitor and my $500 Samsung TV monitor were among the things stolen. They didn't take the old computer, thank God, because all of my stuff is still on it as I hadn't really gotten alot of my stuff transferred. Had the same problem yestersay, but after logging out, cleaning the temp cache and logging back in , it worked for me. Might want to try this.
So, I thought while I was at it, I would update my screenshot but can't get it to apply. The upload is successful but the image keeps changing back. Have logged out and cleared cache but no go!

You might also try opening any office program and on the tool bar select help and from the drop down menu select "detect and repair" which will repair all office components and restore the icons. However, I think if you do this you may have to reinstall any updates to office. Drastic, I know, but it will fix your icons.
Having two internal drives is great. I have two and store all of my music, graphics and documents there leaving my main drive free for the operating system. I even have my space consuming programs installed on the second drive. It helps me to stay more organized, if that is possible!!!

Okay, so you lost me! What are you referring to as explorer background. It changes the backgound of the folders to any picture you like and I can only assume that is what explorer backgrounds are as that is what Windowblinds changes when you enable explorer backgounds!

Thanks for the comments. I did get my Object Desktop installed but even with a fresh install am still having the activation issues with IP. I have and use the email backup tool but didn't know how to get the info into the new install of Office. I have purchased Laplink to try and move all of my pertinent stuff over to the "New Nellie" but just got her set up today and the hour is late so it will wait until tomorrow. Boy howdy is she fast! I am in computer heaven for now! :)
