Another question, if I might. Is this an all or nothing setting, or can you select different backgrounds for different folders? Nice to see it available for XP now but I know with "Windowpaper", I can change each folder and was wondering if WB can do that?

So, for anyone interested in doing this in Xp, this from the developers site: "One feature we particularly enjoyed from Windows 98 ™ on up was the ability to change the wallpaper of a folder as well as the text color of the icons in that folder. This would help make each folder easier to identify and would bring a personal touch to my PC. As Windows XP ™ Home/Pro was released, many have realized that Microsoft had removed our ability to change wallpaper of our folders! Shortly after

No, it wasn't a yes or no question. So, are explorer backgrounds the same as folder backgrounds? If not, what exactly are explorer backgrounds? The reason for my confusion is that in a previous post it is stated that explorer backgrounds aren't functional in XP.

Perhaps I am confused. In previous versions of Windowblinds, you could change dialog backgrounds and MDI backgrounds, but the newer version does not have that option. I use a program called Windowpapers Xp to change folder backgrounds like in Win98. So what is "Exlorer Backgrounds"?

Photoshop is my program of choice. I still use 7, it was a collaboration between my brother and I. I have Paintshop Pro but feel more comfortable in Photoshop. Guess it's all what you learned with. I do use Paint.net for quickie stuff and it gets better all of the time. I also use Gimpshop as it closely resembles PS7.

Kona, there is a program called "Dial-A-Fix that solved my update problems. Microsoft couldn't fix it, but this little jewel did the trick. You might want to check it out, it certainly won't hurt anything.[link="http://wiki.djlizard.net/Dial-a-fix#Mirrors.2Fdownload_locations.2C_and_articles"]WWW Link[/link]

Thanks so much for the link and the info, I surely did miss this little tidbit, but am truly honored, none the less. I will try not to disappoint anyone! My graphics bug is becoming an addiction, according to my Hubby, but I get so much joy out of it!

I have used Wbconfig to change the fonts and upon applying, nothing changes! It would be nice if the creators of the blinds wouldn't use such tiny fonts as they are almost unreadable on large monitors which is the norm today. The main ones are the "more programs list" and in the links bar of IE. I am not sure what controls these. The only sure way for me, has been through advanced properties, saving as a theme and reapplying on reboot. Perhaps a short tut is in order as I have many blinds that I
