Thanks for hanging around for the last five. You are always willing to help and that is sooooooooooo great! Just looked at my profile and I will have 10 years this September and you beat me on the drinking by a couple of years as I quit in 2001! [e digicons]:meow:[/e] [e digicons]

God helps those who help themselves! Things are tough all over, be happy you even have a computer. You cannot expect something for nothing.
This "bug" has been present with IP every since Win7 64 bit came out. It sure would be nice to have it fixed but I don't foresee that happening, EVER! The live folders constantly revert and have to be updated manually. It is very disappointing.
Have you even looked at any thrift stores in your area? We picked up a flat screen 17 inch ViewSonic for my Grandson for 10 dollars. They have newer computers than yours cheap and usually a savvy person can fix anything wrong with them. I've done several for friends. I picked up a new external DVD reader/writer for 24 bucks for the Grandsons machine. There are lots of ways to go to help yourself.
Log out and leave the computer on the login screen for a few hours a week. That's the best way to ensure GC is working. There is no way to turn it on and there is no way to turn it off. You can't check to see if it's working apart from monitoring performance (which just reverses any improvement by hammering the drive with random writes) . There is simply no reason why i
Barb, if your daughter downloaded and installed the Java Software development kit instead of the Jave Runtime Environment than it would come with JavaFX. I would recommend that she uninstall all things Java and then download and install JRE 7.11. I know I have a couple of old games that require Java on my machine to run. It can still be disabled in the browser if you are concerned about safety. You can get the scoop on JavaFX here: <a href="http://docs.oracle.com/javafx/2/overview/jfx
Congratulations to all of you! [e digicons]:meow:[/e] [e digicons]
Update: Following a frenzy of Internet activity — and some confusion — it appears that Adobe isn’t giving away free copies of Adobe CS2. Adobe scientist Dov Isaacs clarifies: On behalf of Adobe Systems Incorporated … You have heard wrong! Adobe is absolutely not providing free copies of CS2! What is true is that Adobe is terminating the activation servers for CS2
Happy Birthday Sed! We know you can't be that OLD!
back on track; blinds have a halflife, a blind that is three months and getting less than 50 downloads/day should not, all of sudden, jump up to over 10,000 downloads in one day. I mean seriously, doesn't this warrant a closer look?
The stats do appear quite odd. Glad someone is looking
Wishing you all the best for the coming year!
I have always taken this statement as fact and relied on it, but that is no longer the case: Note: WinCustomize works to ensure its download counts are accurate. Some download sites inflate their download counts either intentionally or unintentionally. On WinCustomize.com, we take measures to try to provide you with accurate download counts. These download counts can be assumed to be fairly close to the actual # of individuals who have downloaded this skin, theme, wal
I feel your pain. I have experienced the same insanity showing 5000 downloads a day on a wall that I know is not realistic. I have to assume that it is a site issue and like you, it sure takes the wind out of your sails when you cannot rely on the accuracy of the counts. You have every right to express your concern and are not being paranoid as I have expressed my concern over this also. It is just so unreal [e digicons]X([/e] Something is definitely broken
Finally!
Congratulations to all the Promotees and a special shout out to my good little UVAH! [e digicons]:meow:[/e] [e digicons]
Happy Holidays to all of Stardock and WinCustomize. Hope you all have a wonderful Christmas!
LOL Bad enough he's trying to shove it down our throat via the forums, but to shove it down yours! FIGHT LIKE HELL! [e digicons][/e]

I have a phone. It sits on my desk and makes and receives what? Phone calls of course! I have a PC to do anything else I want to do. Texting? Hate it! I have a simple Net10 cell to carry with me in case of an emergency. It costs me fifteen dollars a month. Would not even have that except it was a necessity when my Mom passed because our land line was out and needed to communicate with family in Virginia. And guess who isn't rushing out to get Windows 8! You boys have fun with your expensi
Thanks Doc for the effort. Been trying to fix this with Avast on Win 7 forever and a day. I requested and got the HotFix but it did not fix the problem so notifications for AntiVirus shall remain turned off! [e digicons]:meow:[/e] [e digicons]
I want , I want, I want...................................................... Should charge a million dollars for all these programs
I get so tired of condescending tones like this example. I do not care what you pay for a program, the expectation is that it will work as expected, not be broken. Apparently there has been a fix for the problems with CursorFX but no announcement was made to those of us who had problems with it. Tha
