This is an excellent tool to keep in your repair kit. Have used it many times on many machines and it never fails to fix whatever I was aiming to repair. It seems I have become the "go to person" around here for computer repair. Think I need to up my price from the case of Diet Cherry Pepsi! [e digicons]:meow:[/e]
A Windows 8 compatible edition of CursorFX Plus version 2.11 is now available in Stardock Central.
REALLY! CursorFX Plus has been broken in Win7 every since the last update and now you are telling me it works on Win8? Some of us have been waiting since last June for it to be fixed. Really happy to see Avast at the top of the list. Been using it for a few years with excellent results. On my friends machine that I just did a repair and clean up on, MSE was a huge resource hog and since she did not have any to spare, I uninstalled it and put Avast in it's place and the machine was much happier. You may solve this by also uninstalling, removing KB2670838. Other users have experienced problems with Aero after installing this update: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/ie/forum/ie10_rp-windows_7/installed-ie-10-on-win-7-lost-transparency/6f1cd70c-df86-4ca8-b28e-b2deb619a5b1 It certainly is worth a shot for you. Just downloaded an update to my favorite zip file extractor, ExtractNow this morning and for the first time ever, there was a toolbar bundled with the download. Guess times are a changing! Funny thing about that bundle of Chrome with Avast, on my Win 7 machine I was offered the option to not install but not so on the XP machine. [e digicons]X|[/e]
OR. we could all learn how to read the fine print and uncheck anything we don't want!
Wasn't meant to be snotty but so many folks still do not bother to read the EULA and just click away when installing. I just spent the last three weeks cleaning up machines for friends and relatives that learned that lesson the hard way. If you are downloading from what you once believed to be a "safe" site I can see where this could happen and yes

I posted a while back about the weird problems but did not get any response at all. Along with this problem, at about the same time that links to users sites got broken, nothing uploaded to WC shows the file size. There is without a doubt something wrong with how the site is handling uploads and downloads. [e digicons]>_>[/e]

We can't even get a fix for the broken update that was released in June! I hope folks have a lot of patience waiting around for a fix!

I will keep an eye on this and say a prayer for my family in Virginia. We got our first real snow last night and awoke to about five inches here in Colorado and more is predicted for tonight. However, at the moment it is sunny and a chilly 30 degrees! Last week we saw 80 degrees. [e digicons]:meow:[/e]
4, yes 4 months and nothing. I'm sure you (Stardock) have a backup of the previous version. release it to those who now hav waited long enough for this to be fixed. I for one will think twice, or wait until members have given their ok, before updating anything. Very bad form Stardock, very bad.
DITTO old horses just won't DIE

Noticed that the some of the newer submissions do not display the file size. Is this a site issue or a browser issue? [e digicons]:meow:[/e] I editted this and the edit did not stick so here goes again. I would really like to know if this is a site problem or a "Me" problem as it has been this way for over a month and happens both with IE and FF. There is no file size on any of the newer uploads to the site.
