I don't post on this or any other boards, but I am tired of starting and restartig the game trying to get an even distribution of starting positions. What can be done about this??

Thanks Ginata. I too had a sneaky suspicion that the coumputer players know in advance where the planets are, I see them sending colony ships directly to planets in my area, and there were no scouts before them. I will try the scouting an area then rebooting, I used to do that with Space Empires. But in that game players were deliberately placed far from each other to start the game. Why is it that it is so hard to find a good starting location? I like a small peaceful begining and it is almost imposible to get that in any size galaxy. You would think that with only 6 players in the game you would have a home sector, but NOOOOOOOOO. Somebody is always sitting on top of you. What is the point of larger and larger galaxy sizes?
