I started playing rare habitables when Special Forces overtook FotR. After playing common habitables, it seems to be a much shorter game .... as you can see from the frequency of my recent submissions.

I play gigantic/rare/tight/maso/military with all AIs set to incredible, and usually win around 2205 (when I win), give or take 5 years. When I play with common habitables it usually takes about 7 to 10 years longer. I've never played with abundant habitables on gigantic, since I'd probably die of old age before I could complete the game. ;) [Message Edited]
