indeed! Nice ship pack
Yes Han, where are those instructions? Though you may laugh there are plenty of players who will not know where to put the download! Install instructions in any mod are really a must.
AFAIK it is totally random. There are factors that can assist such as the fabled 'Luck' pick, but in whole tech stealing is a matter of luck once you reach the maximum espionnage level.
OK i will try and answer this for you In the game screen press F4. This opens the economy manager for your empire! At the bottom of the left tab is a slider for espionnage. Ensure this is showing at least '1' on its scale. This will allow you to create spies. Spies can be used in a couple of ways- 1. To gather info on a paticular planet you are interested in and if you have enough p
Brad is there to be an update to the minor AI to make them more aggressive as hinted in the question and answer session you hosted?
Looking forward to the first beta as we all love new enhancements Carry on the good work Frogboy
Agreed However playing the moral high ground each time as good is more difficult then hte others as the penalties for choosing good can far outweigh the other two! That said it can be fun too. Play them all D
On page 6 Btw managed to convince the wife i needed a new external drive as my pc has gone down after i accidently deleted a core system file Now the new external drive is due next week and then i can shift all my programs over to that and only use the base drive for windows. Just got to wait for it
Initially you may not have the resources on the planet to support a build. If you get that message i would suggest checking your sliders in F4 and make sure the middle slider is not showing zero. If it is not then try forcing the planet to specialise in the correct area by clicking the symbol to force planetary specialisation. That should remove the 'never' time. That said if you have a huge negative balance the 'never' will return again <img src="http://images.stardock.com/gc2/T_DL/smiles/B
They look very nice. However saving them as a rar file may well cut down peoples ability to use the file as most will only have the ability to use zip files. For those of you who don't have a program to unzip rar files i would suggest the free program 7Zip which will do ZIP, CAB, RAR, GZIP and TAR as well as its own 7zip format. Han891 i also did not see any install instructions in the rar file? Where do people put the files once extracted?<b
Please note the checkbox is not that easy to see. it is located on the left, slightly down from top.
Can you get the game to process turns if it doesn't have foreground focus, or is that why the 2 monitors are essential? Never tried it, sorry. Always runs fine with two but never tried it before i added the second monitor. that I suggested to the wife that I could move the printer and buy another monitor Had to work on mine for a couple of weeks before she gave in. Only managed it after agreeing to the n
Hmmmn poor taste!
Life is good. Torians being obliterated in 1600 * 1200 resolution just helps get you through after a boring day at work. Only running 1280x1024 myself.... On TWO 19" LCD monitors Play the game and watch a movie at same time now thanks to the core 2 processor! Go get one today folks they are worth the money.
IS there any way to take screenshots other than print screen and alt tabbing? Takes forever ... Try GIMP
Kenwebb are your new military etc bases available as a stand-alone download? They look very nice and i would like to use them if possible. BTW how do you change the default ones? Thanks
Hi all I haven't abandoned you just been real busy in RL. Hope to be back later this week and will answer the emails i have been sent asap. New version of the Core starts its life later this week (i hope) and i will keep you updated on the progress of this. This time we are going for a different 'make' of forum, one with more features inbuilt! Keep reading <img src="http://
Hmmmn no issues here so far. Not sure why you would post this if Cari already is aware of your situation? Is this not then a pointless post? D
/my docs/my games/GC2DarkAvatar/prefs.ini Deleting this resets the game and all data. To delete only the custom config just remove the .customracexml with your custom races name from the same folder. Oh and yes it is annoying that the game will use the same custom race info as the one you are using. You also have to delete the custom race info each game too. Stupid but necessary. To remove the ships just delete the info in the shiptemplates folder, or if playing a MV g
All the update logs are available to view as soon as they are uploaded, normally with the update itself. To view them simply open SDC to d/l the latest update and once you have clicked DA you will see the game synopsis in the bottom window. Simply click 'Game History' to view all the info on the current update and all previous ones. D
AFAIK it has not been rectified!
