The button only appears in the 'Choose Opponents' screen later on when you select 'Custom Opponent'. Strange but true. i guess you would need to create the race there, save it and then go back to custom race creation screen and load the newly created custom race with its ship style. Might work but you need Kryo to confirm that. D

Yup i also have created a few custom races that now appear in most games. All have been given various AI's and after a bit of searching in the files they all have different colour borders. On this note i had to go in and recolour all the AI's and minors so that their colours were all different. Rather than the pastel colours they used to have each AI and minor now have distinctive colours making custom races easier to differentiate and less hassle to choose a colour for.

that's fine, but for the time being it seems you can either live with the bug, play on a smaller map, or not play at all. Ummm state the obvious eh? you could also try some self-control. i don't mean that as an insult in the slightest. Hey buddy i don't see that there is any other way to take that sort of a comment! Whilst i agree that we all need to have a little patience, i can easily se

Mine are: - 1. Fix defence so it works correctly 2. Fleet ships in orbit from the start. I doubt onyl one ship would fight at a time if a planet was attacked! 3. Research starbase 4. Weapons and defence modules take up more room per ship class but are more effective. IE defence of a fighter requires 1 space as the fighter is small, whilst requiring 10 on a battleship etc. 5. More Mega events <img src="http://images.stardock.com/gc2/T_DL/smiles/Congra

Hmmmn sounds like something may be wrong with your install. have you tried reinstalling and seeing if that rectifies it? You could also try deleting your 'prefs.ini' first and see if that may assist. Good luck!

Just to play Devil's Advocate, why wasn't this bug caught during beta testing? Updates to the game don't go through beta testing. Unfortunately the update prior to this one broke something in the code that caused all MV games to be cheat flagged. We are assured that the new build rectifies this issue. <img src="http://altmeta2.thegalacticcore.com/ranksig.php?id=172&style=1&bg=0"/

Either. DALaunch opens the chapter selector whilst GCIIDA opens directly into the game. BTW edit line 5 in your 'prefs.ini' (mydocs/my games/GC2DarkAvatar) and change the 0 to a 1 to skip opening movie! <img src="http:/
