Metaverse/Profile Mismatch in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

I was wondering if anyone could explain a discrepancy I have seen between my Profile and my entry on the Metaverse page. My Profile shows a score of 40799 and there are 15 games listed. My Metaverse entry shows a score of 41726 and 14 games played. Also, I only have 2 bars depicting 10 games played instead of 3 depicting 15 games. Have I done something wrong with my submissions? My last 2 games were submitted on the same day because I was without the internet

According to the stats here http://www.galciv.com/forum.asp?BID=GF&id=111290#111305 we had 19 active players last week. But we only have 14 players registered at the forums here http://euro.galciv.org/forums/index.php Don't be shy, register at the forums and introduce yourselves :) .

I play on normal difficulty most of the time and it's nearly always the Torians that seem to be the strongest. It's a pain as well because I end up fighting them and the Altarians together as they are always allied. Sometimes I don't even bother fighting them and just go for the alliance victory instead. In the 2 games that I played at challenging level it was the Arceans who were strongest.

I haven't had any problems with the Fundies, although that's probably because I play good most of the time. One of the few games where I played evil they took a couple of my planets, but I didn't have any problems getting them back. I do see your point though Sirian and from what you have posted (and the fact that you took the time to post in the first place) it is obvious that this is diminishing your enjoyment of this great game.

The problem with the boards is likely to be a router or server problem with the host. Another reason would be if the subscription has run out. Do you know if it is free webspace or if an annual subscription fee is required? (Looking at the web address I'm guessing that it is free).

I agree with Aaberg. It appears to be a random event, but only after you've reached advanced espionage and only ever against the Drengin. I guess they're just too stupid to develop effective counter-espionage. I've never had tech stolen from me though, ala MOO2. Not sure if that happens in Gal Civ.
