you can make a lot of money selling old techs to minors. When I'm getting low on cash, I can usually come up with a quick 1000 or 2000 credits from selling off techs to minors. Also, giving finanances, weapons, and techs to minors who are the enemy of your enemy can help bog your enemy down, much like Vietnam or Iraq. Trading partners of course. And if your behind on tech, sometimes you can buy a lot of tech from minors, especially if they have had the spy on

Bought Galciv about 2 weeks ago, love it, playing the crap out of it. What I like about it is the randomness, the way every game plays different. And I like the way you can adjust or randomize the alien empires' alignment and intelligence as well. By the end game, all five races WERE STILL ALIVE, and most everyone had an alliance with everyone else. The game had been largly a political and diploma

I've noticed that all the planetoid anomolies are always space sharks. That includes both the green hunk of rock and that spikey porcupine thing. I have to say, I don't like it. It sucks because I automatically know what its going to be. It would be better if the planetoids sometimes gave rewards instead of the space shark as an incentive to probe it. Best thing about Galciv is how RANDOM everything is, but making all planetoids into space sharks takes an element of randomne
