Don't know exactly which tray apps you're talking about, but I know that one of the complications is apps that update frequently (e.g., anti-virus) will change back frequently when the app gets updated (becomes a "new and different" program to Object Dock). Don't think there's much you can do about it directly. Might be best to just put the icons you use for those programs into a directory you can get to the easiest from Object Dock to make it easier to re-load them. Regar

Maybe if you try to load the SMX without Object Dock running?
Trivia: The date on the Opera link is March 2010. The date on the MS Advisory in OP is December 2010. Seems like the MS Advisory should have included: "We further advise that you do not hold your breath while waiting on us to patch this." [e digicons]:moo:[/e] (still loving my new Opera toy [e digicons]^_^[/e] )
Hmm, just loaded up Opera and I've got to admit, it's pretty perky. In terms of browsing it kind of feels like I've upgraded my processor a few clicks. "I think this could be the start of a beautiful relationship" [e digicons]:P[/e] My Rust-Bucket and I thank you Doc.
I suppose the position could be taken that the themes on the site are priced at the same price all the time as the discounted price for non-branded themes on the MyColors site, so everybody gets the discount. I'm ok with that, share the love.[e digicons][/e]
It's good of you to turn all these loose I.R. I saw that you have your reasons, but I expect that you could have gone the other way and just taken them all down. So kudos to you. They've all been gracing my machine for quite some time now, and to this day Knot remains one of my all-time favorite skins. They're all backed up, archived, and with a backup archive [e digicons]\o/[/e] .
blazing fast
Well now that certainly sounds like a nice change from IE [e digicons]:)[/e]
Thanks again Doc, and thanks for including the link to the Advisory - it's well worth reading. I keep thinking about trying out FireFox, mainly just for fun, now could be a good time.[e digicons]:\[/e]
DaveRI, actually I am enjoying doing this
And it shows [e digicons]B)[/e] . I guess that's what I was trying to say...[e digicons][/e]
If you wish to use very easy software to modify your Right Click Menu, I recommend "FileMenu Tools"
That would be more my speed [e digicons]|-)[/e] Thanks Doc. (You're having tons of fun with your new "responsibilities" aren't you? [e digicons]:D[/e] )
Ironworks looks nice [e digicons]:)[/e] (Might want to show off the icons and gadgets more in the preview? - C'mon, make me buy it [e digicons][/e] ).
If I now wish to install it, do I have to do so via installing MyColors, or can it be done via this new (or perhaps old) method using ThemeManager?
A lot, but not all, of the MyColors themes also had/have an unencrypted ThemeManager version available after purchase. Check the link 2of3 posted in Reply #7 and see if Dragon has the extra download link. What you're looking for is 2 download links on a single line for the MyColors theme, the ThemeManager ve
For those who may have missed it I have to mention CarGuy's great hybrid from last year, WC Community Holiday Suite '09 - Dream(Hybrid). https://www.wincustomize.com/explore/dream/2603/ Simply too good to pass up [e digicons]:)[/e]
You should at least give it another try for Dynamic Dreams and Static wallpaper. That way you can at least use the effects that are available in DeskScapes..
I'll call that, and bump you "Hybrid Dreams." [e digicons]:)[/e] All those are really nice and run quite easily on my old single core cpu / agp video card. I've even played with creating a couple of Hybrids. Really pretty easy to do in terms of the Deskscapes part of it, but making t
In case it helps, if you like on XP you can run WFX3 at the same time as WFX4, they run individually. I did it myself for awhile.
Have a look at this thread about Logon Studio. Probably more than you want to know but might have some additional tidbits you find useful. https://forums.wincustomize.com/376841
Ya that was a strange one all the way around, some sort of wierd cosmic alignment. Shit happens. Glad it washed out.
Does that mean good bye? If so, bye.
Pretty sure that wasn't pointed at me, but just to be sure - No, that means I think it's a friggin' bargain. [e digicons]:)[/e]
Ahhhh, if only more things in life were as reasonably priced as my WC renewal.... things would be so much nicer... [drifts off into a pleasant dream state]....
[e digicons][/e] Ya I ran into that one before, about drove me crazy. Funniest part is, since I don't play with it that much, the next time I stumbled into it I had to figure it out all over again - I'm betting you won't have that problem [e digicons]\o/[/e]
Love the snow dream, use it all the time [e digicons]B)[/e] [e digicons][/e] Also Tigrisan, the image you use for the background needs to be a jpg, not a bmp (at least on XP) in case that's tripping you up.
Try changing the "Mask" color in LogonXP to magic pink 255/0/255. It's probably set to some shade of black.
The grey will be coming from one of the skin system colours, probably the window colour which is why exclusions make no difference as colours are system wide. A different skin would probably not have this issue and this is one of the many reasons why dark skins are not ideal on Windows.
Ya the dark skins are what got me poking around in the Windowblinds Configuration / System Colors feature in the first place for Office and Adobe. I've had fairly decent luck tweak
But won't the skin change it back the next time he loads it or boots?
Regarding the grey, it could be a system color setting in the skin but I don't know for sure. If you like you could try to change it within Windowblinds Configuration similarly to the way I described here: https://forums.wincustomize.com/400010 I doubt that it would be the "Buttonface" setting but you could try to find the shade of grey that you're wanting to get rid of. Best to copy off the skin's directory befo
