Is looking good Redneck[e digicons]:)[/e]

Wow that is looking particularly nice! [e digicons]B)[/e] And special thanks for trudging through the XP part of it too
Anytime I see the calculation on this it's clear she is paying for the theft of a lot of other people as well as herself. To me that throws it into the category of (again) Witch hunt / goat sacrifice / Jackpot Justice. If they catch even a decent percentage of these people and the penalty is applied similarly, which of course it would have to be in order to claim "justice", just think how many times all those songs are going to be paid for, at least in theory (let's face it, most p
That was 11/5/2010 on MSN.com.
Thanks Doc, I thought I'd seen that somewhere in here. Sheesh, "Reply 17", seems like another lifetime.[e digicons];)[/e]
Nah, I'm not going to wonder about it. One way or another she decided she wanted to play an exciting round of "Jackpot Justice". [e digicons];P[/e]
Did she have a chance to settle and decide not to?
Ya I think somebody posted somewhere in here that she passed on either a 5 or 10 thousand dollar settlement offer. Oopsie.
Well how 'bout that. Sure enough the WB isn't encrypted on my machine anymore, slipped that one in there on me didn't they. Dehemke it's been a week and it doesn't look like you're getting anywhere here, probably need to start up a ticket with Stardock Support here: https://esupport.stardock.com/index.php?_m=tickets&_a=submit Give them a couple of days to reply, and don't send
The only Diamond skin that I know of (and I could always be wrong) is a MyColors theme, and for some reason it does have a tendency to be problematic. Plus I'm not sure how well a MyColors theme might behave with the WindowBlinds trial. Try downloading and using the Lexan skin from the WB gallery here, it's another XP glass-style skin. See if it behaves. https://www.wincustomize.com/explore/windowbli
Twitter still strikes me as not having enough meat.
Completely agree. Communication junk food.
Exactly what the system needs, fools like us
Apologies for pulling that straight out of context, but man that really does pretty much sum it up doesn't it?
There is also a pdf file in the DeskScapes3 program folder named "HybridDreamFormat.pdf"
A thought I had that makes me ponder: "They levied $1.5 million judgements for petty theft and I said nothing, for I did not steal." Edit: Clearly piss-poor timing on my part.
Ya I installed FX3 after uninstalling it and installing FX4, seem to be working together ok generally. Haven't dinked with the arrangement a lot though.
Oh my, there sure are a bunch of 'idoits' everwhere you turn. How are we ever to know who is right?
(Political/social observation): We can't - we can only seem to flip-flop between faeries/unicorns and duct tape/firecrackers. [e digicons]:puke:[/e]
Well I was hoping someone a little more informed than me might pick up on this but I guess not, so too bad for you... Short answer is that Adobe doesn't follow the conventions for assigning colors and such. I don't think I see a problem with highlights so much. What I do see is a frequent problem with dark skins making the tools sections and the statusbars illegible because dark text ends up on a dark background. I can tell you how to fix that and maybe you ca
The point I'm painfully clearly failing to make is it is beyond time that the rights of a criminal took second stage to the rights of their victim/s.
Well I'm with you on that, and I'm confident that we have lots of company. I still say the $1.5 million in the original post blows way past that and reflects a fundamental failure within the "justice" system. Witch hunts and goat sacrifices do nothing but undermine faith in authority and ultimately destroy th
I'm still consistently seeing the XP/Excel 2003 maximize crash I described in reply #45 here: https://forums.wincustomize.com/399558/page/2/#replies If it's Ancient App Syndrome that's fine, just didn't see anybody else say anything about it one way or another. (I also see it on Word 2002, ick - even older [e digicons]:|[/e] . Haven't seen it on anything else, and haven't come across a WB skin tha
They kill....they die.
I honestly don't have a problem with that fundamentally. I do have a problem with trusting 12 carefully selected morons (or even some judge for that matter) to come to an accurate, let alone reasonable, conclusion. Particularly after being led around the ring a few times by lawyer-babble. As demonstrated (at least in my mind) by the OP.
Remember...the only 'negative' is the increased burden on the Penal system.
Looking at your list it seems like it'd lighten the load on the penal system, not a lot of jail time there. Win\Win I suppose if you want to go that route...[e digicons];)[/e]
It doesn't annoy me that she got prosecuted for stealing something, fine. What does annoy me is that this is yet another instance which clearly demonstrates that the legal system has become a big fat slot machine or lottery. Pop in a lawyer and see if you can hit the jackpot. That is indeed a much bigger problem. The courts are here to attempt to maintain some sense of justice. I don't see it here. Sure, hang her, call her a witch, take her propert
I know Jorge does show up on these forums from time to time but I'll bet you'll have a lot better luck if you ask on his forums over here: http://forums.winstep.net/phpBB2/viewforum.php?f=2&sid=ad2ffb2c5d7a7d6d720d5959ace077d6
good point firebrick.
so I'm sure that will solve the problem.
Well I'm not. If it doesn't work right when loading from Impulse I doubt that it will when loading from MyColors, but maybe. I still don't know if you're running from an Admin or Limited user logon, if it's Limited then try loading the pieces individually through Windowblinds and Icon packager, that's how I load the MyColors themes on Limited users. And ya, the piece of the theme located in the Windo
Thanks for such a prompt update and the announcement! You rock![e digicons]B)[/e]
I've just got to say "reasonableness". I long ago tired of the ridiculous amounts awarded by the legal system. Period.
