I believe those are the "running indicators" to indicate which applications are currently running. To turn them off, go into the dock's settings, the "Effects" section on the left side, uncheck "Show 'running' indicators on shortcuts that are currently running'. I think you'll have to set it for each dock. [edit: once again slow, and quite possibly wrong, but I'll leave it out here just in case [e digicons]:)[/e] ]

For XP, check your setting for the .dream filetype extension. Login with full administrator privileges. Go into Windows Explorer ( as opposed to Internet Explorer) tools/folder options/file types, select dream extension. Click the "advanced button", make sure the box is checked for "Confirm open after Download" is checked. Then after you leftclick on download it should ask you if you want to open or save the file. Windows XPHome, XPPro32bit, XPPro64bit, Vista32bit, Vista64bit, Win7-32bit, Win7-64bit? When exactly do you get the error? Can you get rid of it by doing whatever you're doing while logged in with full admin privileges and/or running elevated (i.e., the same way you would install a program)? Might only need to do it once, looks like a directory creation is failing.
If you click on "My Account" towards the top left of this page, right underneath "Welcome sursubbu", then click on the "Registrations" tab (furthest on the right), do you see your software listed with 2 download links (one is Impulse and one is the Object Desktop exe)? Not sure if that would work after expiration but thought it would be worth a shot. Also not sure exactly when the various components of OD became Win7 compatible.
