Shirley in case it's something you want to look at to sse if it needs a tweak, the new version is what I was referring to in Reply 12. I think that's what Redneck was talking about too, but at this point I'm not sure. Anyway if you have the urge to check it...otherwise not to worry.
I can't get it to install at all on XP. Says it's not compatible with my system....
I could only get it after unchecking Impulse's "Show Pre-release versions" even though it's the same version, I got that error otherwise. That was a while ago, don't know if it still matters or if you tried it. (I think I ran the new version for about a week before I went back to the old one [e digicons];P[/e] )

Afghanistan was a terrorist farm. I really don't think anyone went in there thinking about copper. Ya though the responses in the article are classic, as the saying goes "That's why everybody hates us."

My concern is that corners get cut all the time, be it from corporate strategy or the choice of an individual. To be clear, I'm not defending BP. I'm concerned that the powers that be will whip BP and shred them, then vigorously pat themselves on the back and say "See what a great job we did whipping and shredding them" while ignoring the fundamental issue that we still don't know how to promptly deal with an ocean spill. This spill is expected to surpass it and therefore earn the title of "Worst Spill Ever". It blew past Exxon Valdez ages ago. Well I suppose if somebody's going to screw up, screw up big. I really blame the industry more so than BP. BP was just the lucky duck who happened to be holding the bag on this one.
Why is every time a large corporation or the Government screws up the tax payer has to pay for it? It's the risk of doing business they should have to pay for it.
I'm not sure it really matters. If the company pays for it they'll just raise prices to recover it (unless there's enough real competion to keep prices down), that's how it works. Either way we'll be paying for it. Ya I think BP should clean it up though and the gove
And I'm surprised this isn't front page news
There has at least been regular coverage of it on the network morning news shows, at least CBS's The Morning Show anyway. They've been showing the leak source footage, open water footage, wash up footage, having some interviews. Decent coverage overall really. Today BP is going to try to pump mud into it, BP is estimating a success probability of 60-70%. The objective expert they
